This is a single-story guest house located at the foot of the historic site "Kegatake". In a warm space made of pure wood, you can relax and enjoy the feeling of living in the countryside. The basic accommodation is room only, but meals can also be prepared for a separate fee. (Depending on the timing, it may be difficult to provide. Please understand.) Please consult with us in advance if you need it. From the summit of the "Shigadake Lift", a 2-minute walk from the inn, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the two lakes, Lake Biwa and Lake Yogo. 5 minutes by car from JR Kinomoto Station and Kinomoto Interchange. You can also enjoy a stroll along the Hokoku Kaido, where you can find Tomita Brewery, famous for "Nanayari", Sanji Brewery, famous for "Kuwa Sake", and Tsuruya Pan, famous for "Salad Pan". The surrounding area is dotted with historic sites such as the village of Kuroda Kanbei, the cave where Ishida Mitsunari hid, and the Kotani Castle Ruins, the castle of Asai Nagamasa. The Kannon pilgrimage is also popular, starting with the national treasure of the Eleven-faced Kannon at Wanganji Temple, and visiting the Kannon enshrined in each village. The Kohoku Wild Bird Center, where eagles fly, is about a 15-minute drive away. It is located exactly halfway around the Biwachi, which departs from Otsu. We also recommend it as a place to stay for the first night.

As the property is fully private, you can enjoy a private stay without worrying about your surroundings. It can accommodate couples, married couples or up to three friends. To ensure you have a comfortable stay, we use Simmons mattresses for the beds and Airweave for the sofa bed. It also has high-speed internet, making it ideal for workation. Parking for three cars is available. There are also shops in the area that serve Omi beef, and you can enjoy teppanyaki grilled with Omi beef.

The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
