It was built by Wayne and Kirby (the owner and his son) using pine logs cut and cured from our own property. Two walls of windows allow tons of natural lighting into the main living and dining areas. Little Pine Cabin is located in a quaint compound on the shores of Lake Sam Rayburn, but conveniently situated to visit Lufkin (18 miles), Huntington (15 miles) and Nacogdoches (20 miles). The cabin has beautiful views of the lake and complete access to our expansive shoreline. Please note this is an open concept cabin. There are walls but no doors.

Dogwood Cabin at Tall Timbers Retreat sleeps up to 13 (or 9 in individual beds). Downstairs has a private room with a Queen bed and a pull-out full sofa. Upstairs has a private room with a King bed and a bunk bed, plus a loft with five singles (note: access to the private room is through the singles area). Two full bathrooms, one on each floor. It has a full kitchen and shared laundry access with Pine Tree Cabin.
