Holiday rentals with a kayak in Nacka Municipality

Matthias and his family have a great house and grounds. The area is very nice and has many great excursion options. We liked the immediate proximity to the archipelago, the Tyresta National Park and also took a tour to Stockholm. All in all highly recommended, we will be happy to come back!

I booked Johanna and Erik's house for a new year expedition to Stockholm with a group of friends, and we couldn't have chosen better. The centre of the city is less than an hour away, and the place itself was a perfect home from home: tastefully decorated, moodily lit, and filled with things to keep you busy - from a chess set to a foot massager - along with a great sauna. Johanna and Erik were communicative and gracious, and even left us a bottle of champagne for New Years' Eve. Fully recommended.

Super great place to stay in beautiful surroundings. The house has a great garden very green, family friendly. Well-equipped and nicely furnished. Cleaning and sheets are to be paid extra.

It was fantastic to stay at Nacka! Location at the lake makes it perfect vacation destination for a family with children. It was nice to cycle to city centre and the public transport was also ok. clean and spacious home and equipped with everything you could need. we enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities, sitting on the balconies, hot tub, BBQ and being able to rent and park a boat at the dock just near the house was great. about 10-15 minutes walk away is a wonderful nature preserve with many trails to hike or bike. The views are great. the space is definitely suitable for a large family to stay. The bed was very comfortable. loved the strawberry plants!

This is a lovely place to stay. Unique architecture. Very spacious living area and lovely courtyard. Tasteful decorations. Beautiful, relaxed neighbourhood, yet reasonably close to the city. Excellent trails for running nearby. Perfect for a family of four!

We had a fantastic weekend getaway in July, and this home was the perfect spot for it! The house is beautifully located right on the water, with stunning views from every corner of the property. Watching boats pass by while relaxing was incredibly peaceful and picturesque. The home itself is thoughtfully furnished, clean and fully stocked , from the kitchen to the bedrooms, which made it so easy for us to settle in and just enjoy our time without needing to bring anything extra. We especially loved starting our mornings with a cup of coffee while taking in the serene views, and ending our days in the jacuzzi and sauna, both of which also offered beautiful views of the water. Sitting in the sauna and looking out at the peaceful surroundings was such a unique and relaxing experience. Communication with Jim was excellent. He was responsive, helpful, and made sure everything was in place for our stay. The place exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely love to return!

Excellent cozy little stuga in the Trosa area. Can highly recommend a stay here. Will be back when the weather is warmer and can enjoy the sea more!

We had the most lovely stay at the sea cottage. It was a bastion of rest and relaxation. We could not stop looking out over the beautiful sea views. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet and peaceful place in the Tynningö. The best part by far was the view — wide open sea, fresh air, and large cruise ships slowly passing right in front of the house. It was like watching a moving postcard! One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub overlooking the sea. Sitting in the warm water while watching the sunset or seeing ships glide past was an unforgettable experience — calm, scenic, and perfect for unwinding. The house is simple and cozy, with all the essentials you need. The bathroom was a bit small, but manageable — and honestly, the view and outdoor experience more than made up for it. Highly recommended if you're looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy the best of the Swedish archipelago.

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!

I had such a beautiful experience staying here that I can’t stop talking about it to my friends. The island is stunning and with everything that the hosts make available for use, like the kayak, there’s plenty to do. It’s quiet and private, with plenty of areas where to lounge and look at the sunset. The cottage photos don’t make it justice as it’s even more cute and curated than it appears. The hosts are incredibly kind , helpful and down to accomodate requests and necessities. I will always remember this place and keep it in my heart hoping to go back!

Lovely red wooden house in the middle of the woods on a tiny and wild island, with stunning views on the Baltic Sea and the archipelago. We had a beautiful time there.

Annalena and Thomas are the best hosts anyone could ask for. We fell ill during our stay and they went above and beyond any response we could have imagined. We not only give them the highest possible recommendation, we miss them. They’re wonderful people who deserve the best.

We had a lovely stay at this cabin during our city trip in stockholm. A nice 30 minute drive from a P+R from which we could easily take the metro into the city. Communication was great and instructions were clear. The hosts had a BBQ with some guests but this was mentioned beforehand and we didn’t experience any disturbances. We were unsure about the shower but it turned out to be ok! Beautiful nature nearby🌲

Brilliant long weekend stay. Beautiful cabin right on the water, we made use of the kayaks daily! Amanda was a responsive and friendly host, we would definitely recommend this stunning place.

We spent 5 nights in Christina's place, a home as described, a little paradise lost in nature. We were on foot, but, loving to walk (20 minutes from the bus stop) it was no problem for us. Thank you for the loan of the bikes and canoe that allowed us to discover Vaxholm and the surrounding islands, differently and autonomously! Christina was a great host. It was a great!

We had a fantastic stay at Michael's cabin on Storholmen! The cottage is magical with a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Michael was very easy to communicate with and made our stay smooth and comfortable. We will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!

Sublime and very peaceful place, ideal for a getaway for two, the island of Vaxholm is worth a visit. The sauna is also a very pleasant activity included in the accommodation. Maritza was very welcoming and gave us some great suggestions, thank you so much!

This was a lovely and characterful house - typically Swedish and very comfortable. Public transport options from Vaxholm and the house into Stockholm are both frequent and very affordable. When I saw the location on Airbnb, I decided to rent a car. It was convenient having one, but the buses and ferries are so good that a car isn’t absolutely essential. It was nice meeting Pontus and Sophie. Vaxholm is a chic little resort and a hub for the islands in the archipelago.

The accommodation on the rock in Flaxenvik has a dream location. We were always thrilled by the view of the water and the archipelago.
