Cabin holiday rentals in Muskoka

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy cottage! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The BBQ setup was great and made evening meals easy and enjoyable. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature views, making it a peaceful escape from the city. We especially loved sitting on the deck and taking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. Would definitely come back for another getaway!

We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the deck was stunning. We especially appreciated the little touches like the, family friendly games, fast Wi-Fi, and detailed welcome guide. A beautiful place, with everything you need for a private romantic retreat, my girlfriend and I also enjoyed bringing our dogs along. I’d say if one thing could be changed I have a preference for a firmer bed.

We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

I loved the location, lots of trails that you can visit around by car as well as local stores, marina, playground, lakes, etc. It was a quiet place next to no one on the lake. Everything we needed was provided, such as kitchen supplies, blankets, towels, etc. Amazing view from inside the cottage and on the front deck! The water is clear and sandy and shallow for little ones if you bring a infant/toddler like we did. Amazing stay overall

So peaceful and beautiful view of the water. We will be back!

We had a great weekend at the Humble Ranch. A nice comfortable cabin on a beautiful property. The private trail system was a nice added touch for a peaceful walk in the morning. We’ll definitely be back in the fall.

Our Misty River Cabin stay was absolutely dreamy. We stayed for a weekend with our dog and left feeling relaxed and refreshed after a beautiful time in nature. The cabin is extremely cozy and has all the cottage feel while still being very luxurious. Every aspect of the cabin from the comfy beds to fully equipped kitchen (and so much more) made it feel very bespoke and special. It rained almost the entire time, but we still enjoyed every moment as we could snuggle in the Muskoka room (with outdoor fire) and watch rain fall on the river as the birds sang, or enjoy movies on the cozy couch next to the fire. Our dog got to enjoy plenty of play on the little beach and shallow water too. It was wonderful to have a vacation the entire family could enjoy. We hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Annmarie’s cottage. The house was fully stocked with anything you might possibly need for a weekend away. Communication was excellent - Annmarie’s clear and proactive instructions made it a breeze to find and access the cottage. Whether in the cottage, on the deck or on the dock, the view of the bay is spectacular. We would definitely stay again!

A Wonderful Lakeside Cottage We had a fantastic time at Amy's cottage. The location was peaceful and private.The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the boating opportunities on the lake, the beautiful sunsets, and the fire pit by the water. Amy was a gracious host, always quick to respond.Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway!

This was our second stay at Sunmeet's cottage. We love how quiet and private the cottage is. We stayed a little over a year ago and this time around it was very similar to our first stay. The cottage is very clean and Sunmeet was very responsive. We celebrated my husbands birthday enjoying some amazing bbq'd food and then had a fire in the evening. It's the perfect place if you really want to get away from noise and people (in a good way). Everywhere we wanted or needed to go was 15-30 minutes away. Thank you again, Sunmeet!!!

A great weekend with my cousin and her 2 year old child and 2 dogs. Made much use of the kayaks and sunbathing on the pontoon, as well as the fire pit and covered deck in the evening.

I've just moved to Canada and this my first trip away from Toronto. The place, the hosts, the experience... all of them amazing. If you're visiting in October, make sure you bring extra bedding with you as it gets very cold (for a Brazilian lol). I'm definitely coming back.

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s. Unfortunately we had a family funeral unexpectedly and could not arrive on Friday as planned. We arrived the Saturday evening instead but Jennifer offered a late check out for us since we had lost some time. Accommodation is pleasant and clean. Bed was comfortable and you can tell that Jennifer and her husband take great pride in the property Beautiful surroundings and a great view of the lake. Orr lake is very shallow and has a beach area it would be great if travelling with kids. We were disappointed that the water was too shallow for fishing from the dock but it was a chilly weekend so we spent time in nearby Midland. St Marie Among the Hurons was a great way to spend a cold afternoon. Found a great English pub in Victoria Harbour.

Caroline was a great host to us. She put our trust in us with our first booking on AirBnB, answered all our questions promptly and accurately, provided clear and reasonable instructions and was friendly and helpful in all communications. The cottage itself is in a nice location on a scenic lake with outdoor amenities and chairs. It was great value, and everything that was provided allowed for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. While there are others enjoying the lake at nearby cottages, it still felt fairly private by the cottage as well. I would without a doubt consider staying here again if we're back in the area. My partner and I spent a few nights here for our fourth anniversary and it was precisely what we’ve been looking for. We stayed in studio Cabin 4 and it had everything from multiple cutting boards for cooking to a cheese grater! We were so impressed! As we were expecting rain for most of our time there, we brought a canopy and got to spend our time on the edge of the water. Literally feet from our cabin. We’ve already decided this is going to be our yearly tradition because we loved it so much and are planning on bringing our friends up too. Stella’s parents who live on and maintain the property are the sweetest hosts, for example I forgot our bug spray and Stella’s dad came and delivered his own to me. He wouldn’t even accept any money for it. They are so wonderful and make it feel like they’re welcoming you into their home. The ONLY thing is that the cabins are generally pretty close. But if you go up with family and book up a couple cabins beside each other it’s PERFECT.

My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!
