Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Villa Gioia Modern house with swimming pool

The modern villa with swimming pool is located a little higher up the mountain, in a quiet area in Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca, close to Lake Maggiore. You have a view of the mountains and a glimpse of the lake. The villa (9 people) consists of a spacious house (upstairs) and a separate smaller apartment (downstairs). The house (5 people) and apartment (4 people) are rented separately from each other except for July and August. The villa is then rented as a whole.
