Holiday rentals with breakfast in Murray River

This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

Great cosy little getaway we had! The house was beautiful, loved the use of materials from the original homestead. Tastefully decorated, everything you need for self sufficiency. Extra touches and complimentary supplies were a great surprise and much appreciated. Communication was good and very responsive. Recommend the local pub which is just across the railway track. Otherwise not much else in the little town, but felt quite peaceful and relaxing. Recommended for a nice quiet getaway

Absolutely loved our stay at Olinda Woods Retreat! Emma was incredible throughout every stage with excellent communication and going above and beyond. She included lovely breakfast provisions (also catering to dietary requirements). Emma's dad popped by to welcome us and did an incredible job making the gardens look immaculate! We had some photos taken for an elopement style wedding and were absolutely thrilled with the accommodation and gardens! Can't wait to return, hopefully for our 1 year anniversary next May!

Had a beautiful stay at The Glen. The autumn colours were stunning each window you looked out of. Cosy at night time, we enjoyed the open fire, as well as the outdoor fireplaces. Having the river in walking distance was a special treat. Perfect spot to relax, but to also use as a launchpad to the nearby areas of Rutherglen, Beechworth and Bright. Was a perfect escape.

We had an amazing time with Bob, Shirley, and Jenny. They were so friendly and made us feel like we had known them for ages. We loved the tour around the farm in Bob’s Model T and got lots of great pictures with the alpacas. The retreat is about 15 minutes from both Castlemaine and Bendigo, making it a perfect home base for when you’re in the area.

Have stayed here a couple of times and always feel really welcome by the family. Great experience.

Christine and Mark were friendly, very responsive and informative, and made the booking arrangements very easy. The moment we arrived at their beautiful Bellflower Cottage, we knew we had made the right choice. Such a warm inviting home, with everything you needed and things you didn't even know you needed, but will now be looking for in future properties! Luxurious bedding, beautiful furnishings, books, games, amazing breakfast provisions, great information booklet, we went to two of the recommended restaurants, which were amazing!. A beautiful kitchen with very tasetful crockery, cutlery etc. Wonderful bathroom provisions and great laundry. Lovely areas to relax in, both inside and outside of the home. Such a peaceful area, lots of bird life and one very cheeky possum, to sit and watch in the backyard or from the dining area. Would love to stay again, when back in the area. Spacious accommodation, enjoyed our stay, really appreciated the basic fridge items supplied to get us started on arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay at Melinda’s Airbnb. It was in a great location, easy to find and access, the fire was alight when we arrived and the space was very warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed the decor and found the space clean and tidy. We had a slight mishap with the shower which has a narrow entry. We would recommend bringing your own pillows (we unfortunately forgot ours). The yard is great for leashed toilet walks for dogs. We were mindful that we could hear people on the other side of the adjoining door which is just something to note but wasn’t particularly intrusive. Overall, would recommend and we would stay again. Melinda was a great host.

My partner and I stayed for the weekend and had such a fabulous time. The apartment was spotless and in a perfect location right next to brunswick street. Definitely recommend staying here!

Had a wonderful stay at Geoffrey’s place! It was cozy, comfortable and peaceful! Geoffrey was a great host too, providing us with lots of information prior to our arrival and even welcomed us when we reached to give us a little tour of the place. Definitely one of the best host ever!

Kristy's place was the ideal location for us. Very easy walk down to the Port and main street. Apartment was light and bright with all the comforts of home. Very comfy beds, and the little extras made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The welcome was up there with the best I ever had. Deb’s husband graciously welcomed us and was flexible about our timing. The position is second to none. Although being right in the heart of restaurants , cafes and walking distance to the beach, it was quiet. We were welcomed with champagne, chips and chocolates and plenty to make breakfast the next morning. The kitchen is perfectly appointed for those who like to cook. Also a myky card - which is super helpful (don’t forget not to leave it in the red!) We felt able to contact our hosts at anytime. All round great stay.

We spent a great week at Jessica's flat in Northcote. It was an excellent location for visiting our daughter in Thornbury and close to trams and trains for central Melbourne The flat was extremely comfortable and thoughtful touches made us feel right at home Beautiful Art , great bed /linens, fab shower and guest supplies We loved watching the sunset and see the evening lights of the CBD from the communal terrace , very special Communication with Jessica was very good and thoughtful,always a quick response We would recommend the coffee and breakfast at The Bicycle Thieves at the bottom of the building and The Short Round and 1800 Lasagne 10 minutes walk up the Thornbury Road Loads of great restaurants in Northcote and Thornbury all within walking distance A fantastic week for us here in Melbourne

We were after a quiet little place with lots of character and a fire place! We found it with this little gem! Whilst there is not much to Glenlyon, it’s very close to Daylesford. Home comforts abounded and her breakfast of muesli, yogurt and homemade toast and jam was so nice. One thing to be aware of, it is close to the road and you will hear road noise early in the morning. However, during the night it is silent!

Great place, central to the main street. Nice and warm on an extremely cold weekend. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Yet another 5 star stay this was our 4th time to stay with our Golden Retrievers and it was impeccable as usual highly recommend it great spot for a stopover on your way to Victoria easy walking to the best pub and general store see you again Michael

Rob and Ade are superhosts for excellent reason - They have truly prepared an outstanding accomodation stay for their guests, which is well-catered, warmly welcoming and truly all encompassing, down to the array of breakfasts, snacks and common household goods you forgot you needed! Plus extra! We truly want to thank Robin and Ade for allowing us to experience their welcoming abode. It was such a delight to spend time here with our little girl, who also enjoyed her time and was well catered for, too! We informed Rob that we enjoyed it so much that he needed to expect us to come back for a romantic getaway down the line. SO, experience this wonderful, welcoming and peaceful cottage for yourselves. Was a fantastic stay and one we wish was longer.. so peaceful and serene views. The hospitality was fantastic and so generous in supplies for hot drinks and breakfast. Split systems in each room kept us all cozy and the views were beautiful.

Great accommodation nestled in the heart of the Barossa - a sub-30 minute walk into town, and very accessible to pretty much all parts of the region. The place itself was awesome, thoughtfully styled and great amenities (underfloor heating in winter was fantastic!). We were only here for two nights but would definitely stay here again if we came back for a longer trip.

Absolute standout accommodation for 2. What a stunning place. We enjoyed every minute in this delightful cottage/stable. Dropdead gorgeous inside and out with every comfort we needed (and more - thank you for the treats!). I expected something special after reading other reviews and Andy and Seona delivered. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, restful place. We loved it and we so enjoyed exploring the fascinating village of Mintaro. 15/10 would, and will, stay again. Favourite Airbnb ever.
