Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.

We are 5 minute drive to the Township which includes a Tavern, Post Office, General Store. Also Millbrook Winery is just a short 7 minute drive along with The Quarry Farm. If you are looking to do some bike trails or hiking trails, then this is the retreat for you. Or if you just want some peace and quiet surrounded by nature , come visit
