Comments from my partner: This was my first time visiting Eswatini and this property and garden surrounding/outside area was stunning. It was clean, well maintained and cared for and had fully functioning air con throughout. The property is secured with a gate and wall so I felt totally safe when left alone on some evenings. On the land there are two other homes, separated by gardens, who are family members of the property owner so I know if I needed anything or had an emergency I could go to them. The property was so peaceful and I loved listening to the birds sitting on the veranda. My in-laws have stayed here a few times now and this is the place we will always stay when we visit Eswatini. it’s also only 20 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from Siteki to get some food shopping, and around 40 minutes from Manzini centre. 10/10 would recommend if you are visiting Eswatini and looking for somewhere good to stay.

I highly recommend this place. The service quality was truly exceptional, I can’t wait to come back. The host was the best host I have ever had, very friendly too.

We’ve stayed at this farm before but not in Retha’s cottage. The whole family are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. The cottage is stunning. A short and easy drive from the airport. There’s easy parking and the farm feels safe. Retha was helpful and friendly. Retha allowed us to check out late which meant we had more time to enjoy the wonderful surroundings and the wide variety of birds in the grounds. Manzini is an easy, short drive away and is good for picking up supplies. Retha’s cottage is a great base for accessing most of eSwatini if you’re driving. We’ll definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a totally relaxing break or a great base to explore a wonderful kingdom.
