Absolutely perfect place to stay! Comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything you could possibly need for a stay. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were a delight and made for a perfect stay. Super convenient access to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and beautiful peaceful surroundings. Host was proactive, friendly, helpful, and provided lots of great info. Would be delighted to stay here again.

Excellent location for a home base with lots of history and charm. It's easy to find, well appointed, clean, and the hosts are exceptional.

Fantastic little home nestled in the forest. This is only about 2 miles from the entrance to Volcano park so if you're lucky, you can run out quickly and catch an eruption!

Amazing location, beautiful cabin, lush nature, and all the tasteful details… this place has it all! We loved it so much we were about to go back a week later again!

My husband & I enjoyed our stay here. Everything about our stay was PERFECT! The aesthetic, the surrounding, the atmosphere and vibe was outstanding! We only stayed for a night but waking up to the view of a rainforest was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing especially when used at night because the air was crisp and cold. Very relaxing and peaceful. 10/10 recommend to anyone who considers staying here. We will be back!

Absolute Gem! Extremely close to Volcano National Park (10 min), very private, great amenities (had everything you could possibly ask for, or need, and more), easily accessible, very clean, beautiful property…I would highly recommend The Tea House Cottage. Excellent find….Thank You 👍

Our stay at this beautiful place was magical! Was better then described and even better then the photos. The lush surroundings, the beautiful sounds of the forest and the gorgeous cottage all made for a perfect stay. We loved the soaking tub and the breakfast. We will recommend this place to our friends and we will definitely be back!

Gorgeous place to stay! Very conveniently located to VNP. The grounds were beautiful. The tub was a perk after days of hiking in the park. If we’re ever back in Volcano, we will absolutely book again. Thanks to the wonderful staff who were very helpful!

The place was conveniently located within walking distance of the HILO downtown district, where you will find local shops and good restaurants. There are also three supermarkets within 1.5 miles and a short drive to other national chains of stores. You are also near many attractions, including the beach, all within walking or short driving distance, with easy parking. The house offers private parking, which was nice. However, there are some stairs to climb as described in the listing, so it's not wheelchair or elderly-friendly if you carry a lot of heavy luggage. The house came with some basic cookware, and with a short distance to the supermarket and local farmers' market, you can save a lot of money not eating out if you choose to stay in and spend time with family. I would 100% stay there again or any property that Jason is listing. Great Host!

Kelly’s place was perfect. Quiet, private and lots of covered outdoor spaces with lots of room. The home was clean and had everything we needed. She even had a nice notebook filled with things to know and do around the area. We enjoyed our daily walks to the ocean and met lots of people enjoying the area. I would recommend Kelly’s place for anyone who wants to enjoy all that the East side of the Big Island has to offer.

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

Beautiful spot in the jungle near the volcano. Super private, jungle hottub was definitely the star of the stay. Communication was great.

Quiet, cozy place to rest after going out. Make sure you take time to view the night sky whenever you wind down. The lava rocks and the background is a surreal experience. The kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom is clean. There are plenty of coals if you want to bbq. Bring your own water and food supplies. The only con I have is mosquitoes. Make sure you have mosquito repellents. Thankfully, the beds have curtains over them. Don’t be like me and forget to utilize that before sleeping unless you want to wake up with mosquitoes all over.

The space is beautiful, airy, open. Outside is filled with flowers along the walkway and plumeria outside the front door. Downtown Hilo is within quick driving distance. This is an extraordinary listing and I will definitely try to return!

Matt had very clear instructions and responded in a timely manner. Matt even sent a msg mid-stay to let us know the volcano was erupting and that we should head back to the park, which was a breeze since it’s less than 10 min away. We beat all the insane traffic trying to make it into the park to watch. The house itself is pretty private, blocked by lush trees on a very bumpy road. It’s rustic in the best way. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you need. The wood burning stove was a nice touch. Covered parking was great as it rained every day, especially in the evening. There’s not much around, so def plan ahead. My ONLY bit of small feedback is that in the instructions it says to bring a lighter and firewood, but there were already 4-5 lighters in the drawer and a lot of firewood in the carport. We also bought some other stuff that was already in the house. They provided lots of drinking water and coffee. And so many CDs and DVDs! Such a vibe

This is a literal hidden gem! Google maps took us to the end of the street but the entrance to the property was right next to it. Park on the street by the white garage doors and take the steps to the left up to the gated entrance. It is motion activated so you can see while you're entering the access code. You will feel completely secluded on this property and it was so relaxing and peaceful! The coqui frogs at night put us to sleep. The fragrant flowers surrounding the property were very pleasing. This cottage is in the middle of the three. There is a walkway that will take you to it but it goes in front of another cottage. We just walked straight and then cut across the grass to enter the cottage. It does require a lot of walking up and down steps on top of the long path to the home itself but the exercise was good for us all, especially eating all the ono food! It was a great trip home.

Great location for sightseeing on this side of the island. Good view of the ocean while sitting on Lanai. Beautiful area with lots of beautiful coastline along the road. Great experience.

This is the best place to stay for your Volcano adventure! The hale is well designed, immaculately clean, and so cozy! The unit was exactly like the photos. Kiersten did a great job of giving clear instructions on finding the place and check in was a breeze. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful little cottage that is the perfect place to stay for Volcanos National Park. Cozy and private. We particularly appreciated the kitchenette as food options are limited in Volcano.

Hau’oli Place Tiki cottage is beautiful! A lot of love has gone into making it what it is and it shows. It’s extremely clean, comfortable and beautiful! Close to the Hawai’i Volcanoes park, this is a very peaceful and private space. You live in a beautiful cottage in the rainforest with all amenities. Like Big Island as a whole, Hau’oli Place has a lot of character. The host Mark is highly responsive, helpful and the other reason, why you should choose this place. I will be back!

Lovely accomodation, truly had everything one could need. The extra touches really made the stay unbelievably enjoyable. The stunning yard, and nearby cliffs, pushed it over the top.

The cottage was an architectural beauty! Very well built and decorated, without being cluttered. It had everything we needed and was just down the street from the park where we hiked. Local recommendations for food were spot on, and we had some amazing meals. I hope we can someday make it back.

Warm, welcoming and immaculately clean, Dora’s place “Aolani” was a perfect stay in Volcano. It has modern amenities, but the charm of a cottage in the woods. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as some extras we didn’t expect. During our stay, there was coffee and some sweetener packets, although we purchased some ground Kona coffee ahead of time. Salt, pepper, and some other spices were also stocked. My brother and I were visiting the big island for ancestral and cultural reasons, and it was nice to have separate rooms with their own bathrooms. Proximity to HVNP was important to us so we could go visit Pele. The five minute drive to the park it made that easy to do. The unit shares the property with a house in front, but is still very private. I’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s in Volcano, including hosting annual women’s retreat (pre-pandemic) at several properties there. Aolani was definitely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Will definitely return!
