Yoshinomiya Falls Sauna and Water Bath, Entire House (10 people)

"A scenic spot loved by the people of Manyo" Miyataki is a small hamlet in Yoshino, a beautiful village in Manyo, which is a World Heritage Site and is said to be "Japan's best cherry blossom viewing spot". This Miyataki was once home to the Emperor's villa called "Yoshinomiya" and is also a historic place where the "Jinshin Rebellion" occurred. The Manyoshu contains many poems praising the scenic beauty of Miyataki. This area, where the clear Yoshino River flows, is known as one of the best river play spots in the Kansai area, and during the summer vacation period, it is crowded with many river play visitors. We decided to renovate a 100-year-old house where my grandparents lived for many years as craftsmen of umbrellas and lanterns in Miyataki, and revive it as "Chouchin no Yado". Taking advantage of the location "right by the river where you can play", it is an easy-to-use inn for large groups, such as multiple households or friends. We hope you will use it as a base for sightseeing, playing in the river, and BBQ in Yoshino while feeling the breath of history and nature. There is a private sauna and a water bath (Tarai) in the courtyard. If you like saunas, please come.

Mahoro-no-Yado [Renovated old house for rent. Discover the unspoiled landscape of Japan in Asakura, Asakura]

Asuka no Mahoroba is a renovated farmhouse built in the Edo period. The separate building was revived as "Mahoro-no-Yado". While retaining the old charm, we renovated it using Yoshino cedar and cypress to make it a relaxing place to stay. One private rental limited to one group per day. Feel free to spend time with anyone. With your partner, family, and group! Of course, solo guests are also welcome. This is a detached single-story house with a private entrance at the back of the garden. It is located in Asukamura Kawahara, the center of the "Asuka" region where Yamato Takeru praised its beauty. Nearby, there are many attractions such as "Kohokuji Temple", where the first sutra was copied in Japan, "Tachibana Temple", the birthplace of Shotoku Taishi, and "Amakashi Hill", which overlooks Asuka Village and the Yamato Sanzan. "Mahoro" is an ancient Japanese word that means "a wonderful place" or "a place to live" in the words of Yamato Takeru. Enjoy the relaxing flow of time at Mahoro Inn. The main house of "Asuka no Mahoroba" is currently operating a rental space and is looking for a new tenant. The dirt floor and garden of the main house are common spaces for all users.

Kashinoki-an, a spacious, authentic Japanese-style inn with a beautiful garden and Japanese dolls and kimonos on display, 3 minutes from the station

Kashinoki-an is in a very convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from Kintetsu Kashihara-Jingu-Mae Station. Kashihara Jingu Shrine is a historic town with the mausoleum and shrine of the first emperor of Japan, in the place where Japan began. It is also a place with a lot of greenery and nature. In the neighborhood, there is Asuka, which retains the appearance of ancient Japan, and is dotted with many ruins. Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. There is also a tourist information center, restaurant, tavern, supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and 100-yen shop nearby, making it very convenient. You can also get to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara in about an hour.

Nishimura-tei Hanare - 100-year-old old house with a kitchen & dining room

Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.
