Monthly Rentals in Mount Takao

I stayed here for a month while working in Tokyo — I only needed to be most central a few days a week, so was happy to be based in a smaller, more local neighbourhood for the majority of my time. There's everything I needed locally, & Tachikawa was nearby for more hardcore shopping. The nearest train stations are quite a walk away, so I wouldn't recommend it if you plan to commute far or want to be elsewhere most days. The flat itself is very well kept & furnished with nice gadgets to make daily life comfortable (e.g. electric blanket .. lifesaver). The host was kind, responsive & helpful — I knew that if I needed anything, she would help. I felt looked after & also had privacy. The internet worked well, the bathroom great. There was everything I needed to cook most meals in the kitchen. Supermarkets 10-15 mins walk away. Gym & library 15-20 mins away. I hope to return to Kunitachi next time I'm working in the city.

Recommend, really good for it's price. It has everything you need for also longer stays. The location isn't the greatest as it's kind of far from downtown but the affordable price really makes it up to you. The host was really responsive and attentive during our whole stay.

Great home in a quiet peaceful area. Easy access to expressway. Has its own parking spot. This is the cleanest home I’ve stayed in
