Set in an idyllic bush setting there are also opportunities to enjoy leisurely bush walks, a bike ride or a stroll to the local coffee shops. Only a 5 minute drive to Buninyong or a 15 minute drive to Ballarat, events and attractions can be easily accessed. Families will love this rustic mudbrick cottage on a 10 acre property within a relaxed bush setting. Enjoy amazing sunsets, watch the kangaroos from the veranda, or take a walk through local bushlands. The outdoor fire area is the perfect place to unwind and view the amazing stars on a clear night. A few minutes drive from Talbot and 15 minutes drive from the famous Clunes Book Town. Being Central Victoria we have many small towns surrounding us within an hours drive.

The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.

Historic Linton Post Office

Welcome to the historic Linton Post Office. This beautiful character filled building was built in 1880 and operated as the Telegraph / Post Office and Post Masters residence for over a century. There are many reminders of the past displayed throughout the charming house. The picturesque township of Linton has a rich history with European settlement dating back to 1839 and the first gold found in 1855 and continued to be found until 1880's.
