Holiday rentals with lake access in Mount Dora

Casey’s lake house was the perfect place for our family vacation. We visited the springs, spent a magical day at Disney, and discovered some charming little towns. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

We had a wonderful 3 days at the Beekeeper’s Cottage. Everything was provided for us that we needed. The location was never more than a 10 minute walk. We luckily picked the weekend of the 2 day blueberry festival which provided some extra things to do. Very happy with the host and the home.

We really liked this place. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was very well-equipped, there was a beautiful view, and it was very quiet. Laura was very friendly and always responded promptly. I highly recommend her place!

Staying at Anitha’s place was an absolute pleasure for our 1st Air BnB experience. She truly thought of everything — from fresh towels and extra soap to cozy blankets and thoughtful touches throughout the space. We stayed at this home with our family of 6. It had all the games, toys, and entertainment a family with four young kids could ask for! We had friends come over and visit us while we were there, and the big backyard with all the entertainment and the pool enclosed from the rain kept our two families happy while they were there with us. Night time, the backyard has lights, as well as the pool, there’s an electric fireplace that could warm us back up quick in the in betweens from our pool time. Just so well thought out how they put seating in every nook of this home, so no matter where our kids wondered, we had a place to relax while they played. We visited a couple springs about 30/40 minutes from our place (that require reservations online now - heads up), and even went to Sea World, and the beach a couple days. All only 1 hr - 1.5hrs from the house. The house felt like home away from home! Thank you for the wonderful home!

This was an amazing home, it honestly was my pinterest board come to life and felt like I was living in my dream home for a few days. Everything was pretty clean, this place is great for families or group trips - we stayed here for our wedding weekend with bridal and groom party. We enjoyed the area and even took the bikes for a ride by the lake which was really nice, perfect place if you just want to relax and if you want to go out nearby it’s only 15 to 20 minutes away to the nearest town center. Kylie was an amazing host, she was very responsive and we all enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at this same house a few times when in the area for one of our bass tournaments. Always enjoy staying here and will again when were back up that way for another event!

What an absolutely wonderful place! We really loved and experienced 4 days of bass fishing, and a very peaceful vacation. Patsy’s home is immaculate, beautiful, wide open and modern. She is an amazing host and very responsive, proactive and provides many ideas for restaurants, attractions, stores etc . We enjoyed it so much- we stayed an extra day! Can’t wait to come back!

Cheryl and her husband are the most kind and genuine people! Everything was perfect, the unit was extremely clean upon arrival and stocked up! We got to enjoy the kayaks and beautiful sunsets, there were a ton of fish to catch too! I will definitely be returning! Thank you again!!

Place was exactly as described. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and the lake. Very clean and all you could need in the kitchen. Brianna was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This place was clean, surprisingly spacious and perfect for our family of 5. Really close to the parks, and the community of legacy dunes was really nice. Getting in and out of the gate was a breeze. We would totally stay here again.

Our stay at this delightful and extremely comfortable home was made even more pleasurable by the presence of Suzanne and Jan. They made sure we didn't just stay in 5 Star accomodation, but they made us feel like 5 Star guest. We loved staying here almost a week while visiting relatives in the area. Great, family-friendly place and we made use of the swimming area (very clear water for a lake), paddleboards, and kayaks--our kids loved it! House was clean and everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the back screened porch too--looking over the beautiful lake, and very private. Heather was communicative and friendly--we'd love to come back next time we're in the area!

I had a wonderful stay here with my boyfriend. It’s a bit secluded which I saw some people complain about in reviews but what they fail to mention is that the hosts’ house is is around 200 feet away and there’s a second airbnb directly next to this one. It’s along a dirt road, yes, but there are still other people in the area. The lake and land are beautiful and there are some chairs and a table on the porch of the cottage where you can sit and enjoy the sunrise. Check in was easy, quick, and required no face-to-face social interaction (something I enjoy not needing to do). The AC works well and is quick to respond to your inputs. The bed is comfortable and there is a very roomy closet that you can keep your luggage in. You can walk straight to the watersports complex right out the door of the cottage. This stay was extremely affordable and I am so lucky that I found it and was able to snag a few nights! I enjoyed my stay so much, and so did my boyfriend. Highly recommend!

Isabel’s Historical Cottage was a great stay for us. She left all sort of welcoming niceties around and made us feel right at home.

“Peaceful” Bernadette place is perfect to unwind. Especially if you like to fish, it’s within steps from the cottage with its own private deck that’s surrounded by big Cypress Trees that provide lots of shade while you fish or just want to kick your shoes off and relax. The cottage was super cozy and clean the perfect setup to relax from every day busyness. Will definitely come back!

I have stayed with Ellie three different times now. I am born and raised Orlando, all my family is still here, but whenever I come back to visit I require a stay with Ellie. It is the perfect in between of being back home and still on vacation. She takes care of me SO well. The listing property and the grounds about are tended to in a way that makes you feel valued and honored. I never feel like I wasted money, on the contrary- staying with her saves me because I know she will take care of any needs that arise, not that many ever do. Always amazing conversation, joyous energy, and a lot of beautiful insight into Orlando that even I don’t know about! I genuinely could not rave enough about Ellie and her Hideaway. We loved our stay! The home and grounds were lovely. We were visiting our little grandson (who lives 2 miles away) so it was a perfect location. We had a wonderful family lunch on Saturday - the kitchen was perfectly equipped and everyone enjoyed the outdoors tremendously. Thank you also for welcoming our dog. I was so surprised at how much he loved chilling in the dog bed! We look forward to returning many times.
