The Logis de Saint Germain

A charming Logis de chasse (hunting lodge) dating from 1666, on the edge of the village of Saint German de Montbron, nestling in the beautiful Charente countryside. We have two very spacious bedrooms, a large salon, kitchen and bathroom. All is fully modernised. Access to the garden for outdoor dining, barbecue, all in a very pretty garden. Use of the owners above ground pool and 2 acres of garden. We also have a second gite, for two people, listed on Airbnb, making it ideal for larger groups.

Charentais house with pool – Chez Petit Jean

This 5-bed accommodation offers a quiet setting in the countryside. The perfect place to get away from it all, even 4G sometimes has trouble. The pool (12x6), secure, spacious is to be shared with the owners, but they are very lending and not very intrusive. Our 2 cats are not very invasive. Bonnie is unlikely to show the tip of her nose, she is rather wild. On the other hand, Bambou, cuddly, will easily come to seek your caresses if you wish.

"Ô Pois Papillon"? But why this name? It is the beginning of an adventure, that of the birth of an aromatic and unusual garden. The first plants take root revealing their aromas, the first bees return with their legs loaded with pollen, the first gourmet scents fill the house... The garden and the workshop will still need a few months to be embellished and welcome you for unexpected discoveries, but the gîte is already ready to welcome you!
