You can enjoy a stroll along Lake Ashi before the crowds of tourists arrive. Hakone Shrine is a 16-minute walk away, perfect for a leisurely stroll to visit the shrine. Lawson (Moto-Hakone store) is a 2-minute walk (140 m) away. An extremely convenient location. 中央自動車道都留ICから5分。都留市駅からタクシーで10分。周囲を閑静な里山に囲まれた場所に佇む築150年の古民家です。建築時期は江戸時代後期。到着されたらぜひ、館内の天井を見上げてみてください。手斧を使い、丸太から人の手で削り出した梁に気付かれると思います。 ここは、かつて「羽休庄 (はやすみのしょう)」 と呼ばれた地域。都留市は富士山の伏流水が豊富な水の都。庭に、夏狩地区から峠を越えて引水する滝があります。焚き火スペースの地面には、江戸時代に建設された谷村大堰の分水を司った、溶岩を加工した遺跡が埋め込まれています。 滝を眺めながら、焚き火とBBQ、晴天時は星空をお楽しみ頂けます。清流の音、焚き火の炎、木がはぜる音が織りなす1/fゆらぎの空間にて、ゆっくりと羽を休めてください。 この施設は、郡内（東部・富士五湖地域）に居住する有志が集まり、活動を行う「NPO持続可能な郡内地域づくり研究会」が運営主体です。管理は小菅村・道志村で森林資源活用を行う、株式会社リトル・トリーが実施しています。
