Upside down stone Bothy on Marsden Moor

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

Dog Friendly Unique barn conversion in Saddleworth

The Barn originally part of Shiloh Farm dates back to the 17th century and has been recently converted from stables keeping the old charm and character of the building. As well as one large bedroom with a fitted bath, an open plan kitchen diner, there is a comfortable lounge with a large sofa. There is a small terrace outside the barn which is the perfect place to have a drink in the evening sun. We also have a 100m2 garden which is securely fenced, with a patio set to enjoy the summer sun.

My house is perfect for a city-based commuter or weekend stays for a couple or small family who want a launchpad for nearby walks in the spectacular scenery of Saddleworth. The local area, Lees, is a 5-10 minute walk away. There are numerous trails and paths in the immediate area if you want a stroll.

Set in the hillside of Greenfield, Saddleworth. The cottage is situated on our family farm where we have a variety of animals: horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs and cats.
