Had a lovely few days at Catbells. Wonderful hosts Jane and Wal really want you to have a good time and enjoy your break and gave us lots of interesting information when they came to meet us on arrival for a quick tour of the house and how everything works. A lovely message on the terrace and welcome pack were really appreciated. The bungalow is tastefully decorated, clean, warm and homely. It is very well equipped with lots of little extras that are very thoughtful. Great views from the kitchen and living room and lots of birds visiting the feeder in the morning at the back. The games shed is a must packed with all sorts of activities including darts and table tennis. Very short walk to the village, beach and train station. We did the coastal walk to Whitehaven and caught the train back. Great location for the lakes as well. Wish we had been able to stay longer as there was plenty more we could have done. Amazing home and hosts - would highly recommend.

Super gemütliche Unterkunft, um den Lake District und die Küste zu erkunden. Janice hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns sehr willlommen gefühlt. Sehr große Küche mit allem, was man sich wünschen kann - inklusive einer liebevoll zusammengestellten Auswahl an Lebensmitteln. Zwei gemütliche Sofas und im TV eine umfangreiche Auswahl an Mediatheken, hier wird jeder fündig! Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und das Bad modern eingerichtet. Großer Stellplatz am Haus und entspanntes Ein- und Ausparken. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

One of the best Airbnb we stayed in. Gillian was very responsive and the Welcome Pack was impressive! The place was super clean and we felt at home right away. The photos really don't do justice to the place - bigger than we expected and lovely place to visit the cost and the Lake District. Can't thank Gillian enough , we love her house!
