We had a wonderful stay! The place is clean, cozy, and very family-friendly. Leonie is a lovely host—kind, thoughtful, and quick to respond. A special highlight was when she invited my little one to help feed the animals—an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our trip! Even with some rainy and cloudy weather, we still managed to enjoy a bit of stargazing—this is truly a perfect location for it. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need, and my little one especially loved toasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable family getaway and definitely will come back!

We travelled from NZ for a local wedding. Justine’s cottage was warm & inviting. We enjoyed a couple of very restful nights and their 2 little dogs were a delight! Very quiet & peaceful! Justine was very prompt in her communication which was appreciated!

Will definitely be back. The house has everything you need. If you looking for modern , I’d check out the other homes they have near by but if you want a real country house with charm , with stunning views and fire . Look no further . It was amazing and we had the best time .

This was our first visit to Queensland's Scenic Rim region, and the Woodman's Cottage was a perfect choice. Gary and Claire and their little doggo Maggie are very welcoming, but never intrusive, hosts. Their property is tranquil, with beautiful grounds and amazing views to the mountains and sunsets. We loved that the cottage was so private and comfortable, and is only a short drive to cafes and shops. We also loved the little bbq shed, with an old Kooka stove converted into a bbq. It's the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the beautiful sunset. We were in the area for a wedding and really appreciated Gary's help with directions to the wedding venue. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
