Mansion holiday rentals in Montour Falls

This was an excellent site for our family gathering. The hills were alive with the sounds of nature and the expansive views were a refreshing diversion from congested norms. Our little children enjoyed romping in the yard and all of our big adults relished relaxing on the deck and around the campfire. The house was clean and well appointed (with light switches clearly labeled!). Some of the supplemental provisions reflected thoughtful considerations, such as binoculars, a flashlight, and blankets stored in an outdoor bin with campfire supplies. Our six-day stay was a positive experience for everyone!

This Airb&b was absolutely amazing! Beautifully decorated, extremely clean, wonderful kitchen, many amenities.. I could go on and on!

LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION. The best of both worlds. The house sits along the country side up the hill from the center of Watkins Glen. There is plenty of room for peace and quiet and very short one turn ride down to the town. The view pulling the gravel driveway is breathtaking and is also seen from the front porch along with the added wildflower field in front of the home. Just an added touch. When walking into the home it looks just as pictured. The kitchen opens up to one big open concept room dining and living. The basement is a party zone! Ample speakers throughout the home along with added microphone for karaoke and a beautiful fireplace and greenery wall. The vibe is positive for sure. We enjoyed our stay as a group of girls. We enjoyed the views, location, eateries and trolley tour. It was a weekend to remember. The house gave us everything we needed for a great stay! We would love to visit again.

To call Jana a Super Host is an understatement. We found ourselves in a dire situation at another Airbnb nearby, and had to leave there unexpectedly. Jana welcomed us into her beautiful home and allowed us to check in early due to the circumstances. Going from the first Airbnb to this one was like dying and going to heaven. She was so incredibly nice and accommodating, and her home is absolutely beautiful. There were welcoming touches throughout the home, such as a bowl of snacks on the kitchen counter, and beautifully folded towels in the bathroom. There was a binder with brochures of all the things to see and do in the area. There were cozy blankets to wrap up in as you watched something on the giant TV. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and well stocked. We had ten people around the dining room table for dinner, and we were all very comfortable. Our stay was amazing, and we fully intend to stay at Jana's home whenever we are in the area. Her hospitality is top notch, bar none.

We took the in-laws and three of our adult children with my husband and I to Watkins Glen for a long weekend. This house had room for all of us with plenty of bathrooms and a first floor, bed and bath for the in-laws. Awesome dining table for gaming, incredible game room downstairs. We ran into one tiny issue, and they fixed it immediately with no hassles. The place was so clean and tidy, and had such a historic feel to it. It would be a pleasure to visit again and stay here.

This is a special experience for sure, staying at Patti's place! To "live" inside a gorgeous church was something new and fun. It is an easy, fast walk to the Village Market and the 1883 restaurant. 5 min drive to the park and wineries. We had kids ages 4 through 10 and all of the kids loved it, from some new board games we discovered (we could stay for weeks and play board games!) to the fun bean bag chairs, it was delightful. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there were plenty of bathrooms - each one different and unique. My four year old woke up the second morning and shouted three times "can we LIVE here?" 'nough said.

We rented this house as a group of eight women doing a friend trip. It was perfect for us! There were many bedrooms and bathrooms, so we never felt cramped. We were happy to find that there were plenty of towels, dishes, and everything we needed for our larger group. Kenneth was extremely responsive when we had questions. He even sent over someone to install a window air conditioning unit in the upper bedroom after we let him know the room was too warm when we arrived. It was raining the weekend we were there, but the deck had plenty of seating and space if we had the chance to use it. The views from the house were beautiful and we found plenty to do in the area.

Wonderful well equipped house in a peaceful, beautiful location. Jim and Debbie are very responsive, kind and full of fantastic recommendations. We picked the perfect place to stay for an entire month. We highly recommend this property.

The host was very responsive anytime I called. This home had everything you needed, plenty of linens, soaps anything you could think of. There were games, kids toys etc. the house was very clean and so quiet and peaceful. Everything was labeled and easy to find and if you can’t find it give John a call and he will help you immediately. I was in town for graduation at Binghamton and this was perfect. It’s about 30 mins from Binghamton and close to a grocery store, liquor store etc. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy getaway.

Absolutely Wonderful stay and the most accommodating hosts that we have ever experienced. David & Holly were responsive, super friendly and proactive. The accommodations were just what we needed for 4 people and so convenient for the concert we were attending at Point of the Bluff Winery. The place was clean, well provisioned (even the medicine cabinet was stocked with essentials!). We asked D & H about a regular coffee pot and within 30 minutes they stopped by with a wonderful Mr. Coffee Brewer. During their brief visit David asked about our plans for the weekend and shared his positive experience with the concert venue. We are happy to extend our highest recommendations for both the accommodations and for the hosts D&H! Thank you Good Folks!

A wonderful space for a relaxing group trip. Clean, extremely well stocked and organized, and easy check in and check out. Would absolutely stay again!

Denise's place is a great older home. The house is comfortable, clean, and spacious. Denise has a special gift for decorating. We had a wonderful stay.

We loved the cabin spent Mothers Day weekend with my family and Grandkids...we definitely would stay again the view is beautiful and the sunset everything meant all our needs

My family and I stayed at Jodi’s place for my little sister’s graduation. It was clean and just as described. About 30 minutes down the road is buttermilk falls which we stopped by on our last day. There is a wegmans and a Walmart nearby for your needs as well.

Fantastic home, very peaceful location just a few minutes outside of Hammondsport. Everything from the sauna to the outdoor tubs to the home itself is as advertised. Kitchen is well appointed, wi-fi is strong. Beds are comfy and clean. The location itself is perfect, there’s literally really good beautiful wineries less than a 5-minute drive away, whole other towns such as Watkins Glen are just a beautiful 20 minute drive away. Book this home with confidence.

Gratitude and Grace is an escape from the ordinary. Its a beautiful unique property in the country that was just about perfect for me and 7 bridesmaids for my low key Bachelorette. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, as it is normally a wedding venue. The inside of the mansion is eclectic and vintage. Ron is very nice and accommodating as well. Some things i may improve: Soap was watered down in all bathrooms Beds werent exactly comfortable, they seemed very old. Hot tub was just nice, It didnt get very hot though and the water was a bit cloudy The most comfortable bed is in the tiny rennovated garden shed. Although peaceful, we did have to request it be opened so we had the 8th bed as advertised. 2 girls had to bunk up together the 1st night, no big deal but would have been nice to know the 8th bed wasnt automatically available. The 7th bed is a fun loft with a ladder above a king sized bed. It was cute, but the bed was very uncomfortable so no one wanted it.

Our stay was amazing at the villa vino the view is great! You are located in a peaceful area but also close enough to be able to drive right down the road to town, wineries, or the lake. The driveway was large enough for cars. The hot tub and pool were very well kept. Nice lounge chairs and furniture inside. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. We would stay here again for sure. Everything you need and close to the lake! Best of both worlds!

Great house with amazing views! Very convenient to many wineries and breweries ! We had a great week with our family celebrating our 40th anniversary!

My extended family stayed at Albert's place for my son's Ithaca College graduation. What a lovely property and location. The pictures are totally accurate. It was wonderful to have 2 kitchens, all those bedrooms and bathrooms. We had 14 people staying and everyone had their own space that was comfortable. We were able to get everyone out of the house by 7:45 am on graduation day, because there was no waiting for bathrooms. We had meals at the big table and had plenty of room for everyone to gather. It was a little cool, but we used the pool and the backyard seating area, as well as the firepit. It was a beautiful setting. Multiple family members commented on the gorgeous view as we visited in the main room. The houses really made having so many people in one place easy. It made for a special weekend for my son and memories that we will cherish.

The place is beautiful in a great setting. I really appreciated how quickly Vibe/owners responded to my messages and questions throughout our stay.

This was our second stay here and it was even better than the first. They've added a restored Steinway baby grand piano to the house. If you play and haven't had the opportunity in a long time, or never, to play a baby grand, this would really put staying here over the top. I'm already looking forward to our next trip to the area and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else.

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Our stay at the playhouse was awesome. The place is cozy and matched with what was published in pictures. Connie was a great host and very flexible with our check in / out times. The pool wasn’t available during our staY. It would have been great if it was mentioned in the post or communicated to us prior to booking. The pool and grill area can take bit of cleaning. Other than that place is awesome, and would definitely recommend.
