You wash with water heated with a traditional bucket. The needs are done in the outdoor toilet. There is no rush here, but the rest of the world is forgotten. The beach is rocky in some places, but you can easily swim from the jetty in summer. The water in the lake is suitable for swimming. Ranta-Mäntylä

Welcome to relax in the embrace of the forest! Ranta-Mäntylä is located on the shore of a beautiful lake full of fish (Kallavesi), in the midst of nature, in the courtyard of our home, only a 25-minute drive from the towns of Kuopio and Leppävirta. The property includes two buildings. The heated cabin comfortably accommodates two people. In the summer, the sleeping enclosure has sleeping places for two. Guests have access to a barbecue, a paddle board and a rowboat. There is an additional charge for using the hot tub. Please book the hot tub in advance.

This traditional log cabin offers a peaceful hideaway right on the lake shore. Hand-carved from thick logs, the cottage exudes peace. The cottage has a high living room, a reserved fireplace, a kitchen, a spacious wood-burning sauna with benches and a shower, a dressing room, a toilet, a sleeping loft and a bedroom, a covered porch and a separate sauna for post-sauna cooling. In summer, the special feature of the place is the ringing of the cowbell in the adjacent, fenced forest pasture when a small herd arrives at the beach to drink.

A modest Kuivanmaa cottage welcomes small groups to the peace of nature. Quiet location, with the nearest neighbour about 0.5 km away. The cottage has basic amenities such as a dishwasher and a washing machine. The cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 people. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. It is possible to create additional sleeping places with mattresses. A child-friendly beach is located about 5 km from the cottage. Pets are also allowed to swim at the beach. Pets are welcome!
