Depuis près de 100 ans je veille sur ce coin de verdure calme et reposant. Mon seul voisin, le château de Chaumont me surplombe. Dans ce petit Havre de Paix, venez passer quelques jours idylliques au coeur de la nature, prêter l'oreille aux chants des oiseaux, écouter le ruissellement de la source et le clapotis des poissons. Barbecue et salon de jardin vous permettent de profiter des doux rayons de Soleil. La région regorge de lieux magnifiques, randonnées, ballades en vélo et Gastronomie

Gîte des Hirondelles

Spacious cottage for up to 4 people at the "Les Hirondelles" farm, located in a small hamlet dominated by its Romanesque chapel in southern Burgundy. In a bucolic setting you will enjoy a panoramic view of Mont Blanc. A haven of peace and relaxation. Your host, Stéphanie (_artbucher_), a painter, welcomes you to this restored farmhouse combining modern comfort and respect for traditions, independent entrance The Gîte is on the first floor in the old farmhouse 'Les Hirondelles'

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Sheets, duvet covers (2x 2m×2 and 1x 2.2mx2.4) and towels not provided. Exceptionally, it is possible to rent linens and towels for people coming from far away (consult us for this)

Ideally located, we are about 20 km from Cluny, 15 km from Montceau-les-Mines, 30 km from Creusot (TGV station) and other nearby cities (Beaune, Chalon, Mâcon, etc.)

A 3-minute walk from the Arroux, enjoy fishing and the many hiking trails (GR 131), you can also go mountain biking or canoeing. Discover cities like Autun, Paray-le-Monial, Beaune and the fascinating Temple of the Thousand Buddhas. Taste Burgundy wines and savor local cuisine. As a family, have fun at Parc des Combes or spend a day at Pal.
