Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montmorency County

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect—easy to access yet peaceful, providing the best of both convenience and relaxation. The amenities were great, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub, which made for a perfect way to unwind. The only thing we wished for was a queen-size bed in one of the rooms for those who had to share, but that was a minor detail in an otherwise wonderful experience. Overall, we highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!

We’re lineman up here working the ice storm and need a place to stay. Brandon responded immediately saying he did have power and we were more than welcome to stay. He had a door code to is with in seconds and that night we where able to get in and get some good rest.

The house was immaculate and spacious for the 8 of us. Very comfy beds. We especially enjoyed the breakfast goodies gift they had waiting for us- pancake mix plus maple syrup and honey made on the property!

Leanna’s house was the perfect spot to stay when we needed a short stay to help clean up a family members house from the terrible storm. I wish we were here on trip for pleasure, the house is in the perfect location in the middle of anywhere you could need to be!

Alisha was VERY helpful, communicated very well and quick responses on all questions asked. My crew was in the area restoring power from the terrible ice/snow storm from the prior week. She welcomed us into her home! Thank you again for being able to help us and letting us stay!

Taylor was very accommodating. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a note that the some work had to be done on the property, the was almost completed, and she left us a giftcard for the nearby pizza place (definitely recommend the midwesterner there fyi) which is entirely unnecessary, though a very kind act. The work being done on the property did not Impact our stay one bit! The hot tub was lovely, especially on Sunday when we got to sit out there while it snowed around us. The fireplace was extremely cozy and one of our favorite features! We unfortunately missed ice fishing season, though found out from locals at Burt Lake where to buy some new fishing rods. Very friendly neighbors! Burt Lake took us only 7 min to walk to as well! Also walkable to a nearby brewery, grocery store at the corner though also could walk to for maybe 10 Min, liquor store probably 10 min walk as well. Wonderful location! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved out stay here in Wolverine!! We have stayed all over noethen michigan and this was a favortite for all of us, the kiddos especially loving it! There was a trail to walk or bike literally outside the front door and the cutest ice cream/gift shop next door. The beds were soo cozy that none of us wanted to leave them in the am but once we did we all made warm drinks and sat outside to enjoy the very relaxing deck. I could honestly go on and on about how perfect our stay was 😅 totally recommend and hoping we will be back soon for another awesome stay 🥰

Jeffrey was a great and responsive host! The place was right near a lot of great restaurants and stores downtown Gaylord.

Scott was extremely kind and courteous, and was always responsive. He also gave us great local info and helped us when needed. Parking was very easy and there were no additional fees at any point. If you want to ski or snowboard, Thursday is the best day as the lift ticket is only $15. The room was comfortable and very easy to keep warm during our late-Winter trip where it snowed almost every day and temperatures rarely went above 20°F. The room had a fantastic view of the tubing and ski slope of the Ostego Resort, and it was an extremely short and easy to walk to the lodge or the shop to get lift tickets. We stayed here to attend a rally going on in Atlanta MI. It turned out to be a perfect location bc no matter what you needed from food to shopping was literally just minutes away. Accessing Atlanta, or the Canadian border, Petoskey and Traverse City were all very easy day trips to make. I was also pleasantly surprised how courteous everyone drove. The rooms seem sound-proof to any noises from the road or other guests. The beds are comfy, the showers have great water pressure, there’s plenty of bed and bath linens, a nice sized fridge and the fireplace was a lovely bonus. Very clean and cozy.

Sherri’s place was so nice! Very cozy and clean. It had everything that you needed. Sherri was so nice and accommodating and very responsive. If you’re looking for a place in Gaylord, this is it!!

The place was the perfect location for what we were looking for. We enjoy Indian River, and we like to be able to walk in town. I am not complaining but to be fair with a review I should mention the bed is a Murphy bed and it squeaks when you move in the night. The unit is attached to the house, and it is not very soundproof between the main house and the rental unit however everything was quiet by 11:00 pm. If I stay in Indian River again, I will stay at Amanda's place again.
