Comprising a ground floor kitchen, living area, utility room, and 2 ensuite, large double bedrooms with views over the square and the Château. Free Wifi. A characterful home with exposed wall built from stones of the River Aude. Two minutes walk to a host of local shops/bars/restaurants and twice weekly market. Night market in summer. Swimming, walking, cycling, kayaking all on the doorstep.

Salamander Chalet

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Our cottage will allow you to discover this beautiful region between sea and mountain. Ideal for a family who loves hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, as well as swimming and fishing (Montbel and Puivert lakes) 15 minutes away.
