Casa Caterina is a magical & mystical time capsule, you will feel enriched by the views and its walls. It will have everything you need to lead a simple, wholesome life while there. The host Caterina couldn’t have been more helpful, recommending her friends’ beautiful restaurant (Buca di Baldabo) as well helping us get the stove going after a glass of wine when we couldn’t understand the screen’s language. Rosaeugenia and her husband were simply the most fantastic hosts you could hope for. Extremely friendly, generous and just lovely people. We stayed for a week to get peaceful rest and the location was perfect. The host's home is right beside the holiday accommodation but our privacy was always respected. The lovely pool was a blessing on the hot days. No air conditioning but it simply wasn't needed even on 38 degree days as the building has thick stone walls and always kept nice and cool.

We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. It is an old house so the isolation is very good and the temperature inside was pretty cool, even when it was 30°+ outside. I would imagine that the house would be a bit difficult to get to with a smaller car because of the steep road, but we rented out a good car so it was no problem for us. The GPS address leads you right to the house so that is not a problem. The apartment was very clean and the host responded to our messages very quickly. Highly recommend!
