Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Monroe County

We had a lovely stay at the "yellow house"! We had 8 guests total and there was plenty of space in the common areas with nice bedrooms to retreat to. We cooked brunch and dinner in the kitchen which had all of the pots, pans, and tools we needed. The backyard sitting area is perfect. The house is also close to Mercer and nice restaurants with downtown a little bit of a longer walk. We would definitely stay there again with a large group.

Leslie's hospitality was delightful. The home suited our needs comfortably (family of 7). We recommend to anyone visiting the area who wants a peaceful get-away from the noise of city environments.

This place was absolutely beautiful. You walk outside and you are right on the lake. They also were really thoughtful about everything inside. It was later that night, and my stinky breath self realized I forgot my toothbrush at home. I opened the bathroom drawer...and boom...a toothbrush and toothpaste in plastic. Thank you! My breath no longer stinks! The only thing I didn't know was that the beds and the living room were in the same room. I'm pretty sure that this was clearly laid out in the listing and I didn't pay attention, but just want others to know this is a reality if they aren't paying attention like me. I would stay in this place a million times. Maybe since my breath no longer stinks they will sell it to me? ;). Thanks again!

We rented this place as a homebase for our nearby wedding and we couldn’t have been happier. It was a beautiful place and everything you see and use such as appliances were very high quality- you can tell the owner really cares about the place. It was very clean when we arrived and the AC was nice and cool on a warm day which was much appreciated. We had a great time and the owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. Would definitely book again!

This place was absolutely great! It was perfect for me and my son and the host Christi was so great! If we ever need a place to stay this will be our first pick! Very clean and so nice!

Such a beautiful area and home. Water pressure was great. Bed was comfy. Loved that old time feeling , brought back memories of visiting grand parents. Walked to The Brick restaurant. Fluffiest pizza dough EVER!! Hopefully get to come back and spend more than one night.

I can't say enough great things about our stay. From making the reservation to the time we left, the owner was responsive and professional. The space was perfect for our needs. Very well kept and clean. We had a small hiccup with parking but I think it was resolved with ease and a very quick response. Check in and out instructions were clear and concise. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Very reasonable price for the location.

Our stay in this beautiful house was exceptional! We love the atmosphere of older dwellings! The location is within about a mile or less of downtown shops and museums! The restaurant scene was great. Be sure to eat at H&H Soul Food while you are there! We were well pleased with everything about Macon! We will definitely be back!

I stayed from July of 23, until March of 24 due to long term work assignment . Never had any problems. The stay was peaceful, quiet and very!!!! comfortable. Jeff and Miss Gloria always had nice things to say during our passing greetings. As far as places I have stayed during my life long construction assignments, Jeff and Miss Gloria’s place was the best. Absolutely hands down the best. Jeff and Miss Gloria Thank You for Your absolute wonderful hospitality. I would recommend Your place to stay to all that have short term or long term stay needs/business in the ATL/Hampton GA area.

This was an excellent place to stay! At first, it was a little tricky to find (but that was because of GPS lol). Overall, I find my way with the specific instructions provided by the host, David who was also very communicative and responsive! Appreciated the amenities, and just felt right at home! ^-^

I had a great stay for the weekend. The space was cozy, clean, and pet-friendly, which was a huge plus. Check-in was seamless, and the location was easy to find. The bed was comfortable, and having a fan in the bedroom was a nice touch. As mentioned in other reviews, you can hear footsteps from the main house above, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me, especially given the great price. Overall, I felt safe and comfortable and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hemlock Cabin! The cabin is so unique and the pictures do not do it justice. It’s so cozy and literally has everything you could ever think you might need. The property is peaceful and we loved exploring the fairy garden and swing with our granddaughter. We would definitely stay again.

Only regret from the group is not having more time in the weekend to soak in every part of this experience. This place was perfect! Everything you can ask for on a peaceful getaway. Private and spacious, this is the kind of place that will make you want to just stay on property and forget to see the rest of Georgia. Couldn’t ask for a more professional and friendly host, and couldn’t ask for a more beautiful view. The pictures are great, but this is the place you need to see for yourself.

Mr. Craig was very responsive and easy to reach when we had a question about turning on the dock lights. The house was beautiful, very clean, and everything was in working order. Very peaceful surroundings and the best fishing we've had at a house ever! We will definitely be returning!

We had a nice weekend at Duane's place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house and amenities are just as described. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

This house was beautiful! Stunning views of the property from all of the bedrooms. We stayed here for a wedding in the area, it was a great place to escape to and relax in between the wedding festivities, wish we had more time to enjoy the property! Katrina was responsive and helpful every time I reached out.

When we made this reservation, never did we think how perfect this would be. You feel like your the only one from miles, but your close to everything in town. From the beginning the hosts were very helpful to answer all questions, and let us know of the extras they offer (YES get the firewood for the fire pit on the back patio). When we needed extra supplies, they were quick to run them by for us. The HOUSE, this home is stunning, cozy, and you feel like you living the life. So peaceful, lots of trees, we saw 15+ deer and babies, squirrels, bunnies, and beautiful birds. We went for several hikes on the property, and felt very safe and enjoyed every moment. The home was very clean and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure the needs of their guests were met. I promise we would make sure this home is available before booking another trip!
