Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Monongahela River

I'm not great at writing reviews but if you're reading this, please magnify it by 10! The place was exactly as described, it was amazing! It was extremely cozy, everything is clean, it has everything you'll need (including laundry & parking), the beds were really comfy, very safe neighborhood and Christine is a wonderful host and very responsive. If you're a nature lover, you'll love relaxing out back taking in all the nature it has to offer. We hope to be able to come back someday and we thank you guys so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and perfect for our family visiting for a funeral. The backyard was an amazing place to have our coffee and begin the day. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

We have stayed in over 40 Airbnbs, and this is by far the best experience we’ve ever had. First, the location is perfect. The tree-lined neighborhood is safe, quiet, and has loads of charm. It’s 5 minutes to shopping/dining, and 20 minutes to downtown PGH. The house is the perfect blend of historic and modern luxury. Every detail has been considered. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen is brand new. Finally, there’s the host. Thoughtful. Responsive. And so friendly. We plan on coming back every year. If you want to party, stay downtown. If you want to experience the joy of travel, stay here.

This was a great place to stay with our dogs. It's spacious and has a nice, fenced yard. Dan and Crystal were really nice and called me prior to arriving to let us know there was an issue when approaching the road due to some storm damage the night before. Crystal told us which road we would have to use and once we figured it out, all was well. I'd definitely recommend this place to others traveling with dogs.

Our stay exceeded all expectations! The location was perfect for exploring Pittsburgh’s highlights, with easy access to downtown and the Strip District. The space was immaculately clean, well-appointed, and exactly as pictured. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful throughout our visit. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, with great local dining options within walking distance. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches like local recommendations and seamless check-in process. Would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Steel City!

Absolutely gorgeous place! My dog and I came for a few days to relax, get away from the city, and breathe some fresh air—this was the perfect place to do it. Tons of comfortable seating options, quiet atmosphere, and a great kitchen.

This was our second stay in 8 days. We stayed here heading to the East and we liked it so much that we also stayed here on the way back. That in itself should tell you what we thought of it. Beautiful, secluded location. Large place with everything extremely clean and the freezer stocked with as many coffee options as you could possibly want. We got to meet Diana (the Great Pyrenees) and another Pyrenees (we think named Puppy). We love animals and loved seeing them. Without a doubt we will be wanting to stay here again next time we do another one of these trips.

We really enjoyed our stay! The space was spotless, private, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. Loved the cozy bed, well-stocked kitchen, and extra towels. Karen was a very responsive host—highly recommend!

The place was great! My daughter and I came to Pittsburgh for a concert at the Steelers Stadium. It was less than 25 minutes from the stadium. The only thing that kind of got me was nothing Shadina could control. That is the 1st morning my car smelled like weed. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Shadina!

Beautiful older home in a great location! Everything was as listed! Rebecca and Alex were great hosts! We stayed 2 nights and we slept very comfortably in the queen size bed! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully done home near Washington & Jefferson College. The space was tastefully decorated with great amenities and very kid-friendly—our kids especially loved the playground and swings! The walk to campus was lovely, and Joseph was an excellent host—very communicative and checked in throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Joyce was so welcoming and the apartment was fabulous! Loved the bird feeder, the private view, and also how personable Joyce & John are. The view over the mountains from their yard is gorgeous, and they invite guests to walk trails on the property. The apartment had everything I needed and was beautifully designed and decorated. I brought all of my food and found everything I needed to cook—great pans, extra staples like oil, spices and sugar. The whole reason I went was to hike in Cooper’s Rock State Forest, and Joyce told me about a little known trail that is not in the main part of the park—it turned out to be my favorite trail. I highly recommend staying at Cooper’s Retreat!!

This Airbnb is amazing and Andrew's an awesome host! I highly, highly recommend it! The unit is very spacious, comfortable, clean, safe, and quiet. The surrounding area is also very safe and quiet but is a short trip to all the major attractions of Pittsburgh. The views of downtown Pittsburgh from the windows are stunning--pictures do not do it justice! Andrew was very responsive and all information was provided in a convenient and timely matter. He was very personable and professional. It was a privilege staying at Andrew's Airbnb and I'd love to visit again! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!!

I wish there was an extra star for the Host! Lorena was super helpful, always responded less than 30 minutes, and made us feel welcome into her home. Personal touches say a lot, and she had written us a nice thank you card that was on the table when we arrived. It was also nice that we did not have to run out and get toiletries immediately as they were readily available upon our arrival. Lorena was also upfront with an issue involving the oven, however there was a toaster oven readily available if we so choose. I highly recommend her condo to anyone with a small group of people/small family that plans on staying in the Deep Creek area!

As always, another wonderful stay at Roxanne’s and Doug’s. We could smell how fresh the inside was outside the door. Leroy even said commented on how good it was as we were standing on the private deck. The gas grill was so pristine it looked brand new. We couldn’t wait to cook on it. Roxanne recommended things to do on the rainy days. Places we didn’t know existed out there. We stayed two weeks this year and the cost was right in our budget. You really can’t find a nicer place to stay in such proximity to Seven Points. Already counting down the days until next year…364. Thank you once again for everything.

Great location and the host was wonderful!

Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

Great little condo steps away from the mountain. Description was accurate and communication was efficient. Would stay here again and recommend to others!

Visiting the area in May makes you feel like you’re visiting a ghost town. However, staying at this AirBNB gave you the coziness of a cabin with the privacy and comfort of knowing you’re not alone. We are so grateful for our hostess with supplying a delightfully cozy space with all the essentials for a weekend getaway away for two. We loved every minute of staying in and being unplugged from our work life.

I can’t say enough about the entire experience. For a first timer it was wonderful and a perfect experience! The condo was better than described and much more affordable than the surrounding options!
