Revamped Minimalist Stone Country House

Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

Steliana's House _Top Floor with Private Jacuzzi

The apartment is fitted on the upper floor of Steliana's House. A place full of charming details that make guests feel like home from the very first moment. The house consists of 3 bedrooms with a smart TV for each one, whose tranquility provides a peaceful environment to achieve the ultimate relaxation. All of them are equipped with ensuite bathrooms. Its spacious outdoor area serves as an extension of the pleasure that one can indulge, starting from a private cozy terrace that offers both mountain and sea views and pampers its guests. On the roof there is an extra terrace combined with the heated jacuzzi and an open-plan living room that promises moments of relaxation with unlimited views. A private spot, for the upper floor apartment, that lets its guests take full advantage of the Greek sun and get a bronze tanning.
