Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons
Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

It boasts oak beams, ingle nook fireplace with wood burner and a large airy cruck beamed bedroom with stunning far reaching views east over Herefordshire countryside. Enjoy the morning sun over breakfast, near the open door and listen to the birds.

Luxury cottage, friendly local pub, on Offa’s Dyke
Step into Jinks Cottage and I hope you step into a real ‘home from home’. A cosy cottage with a fabulous & foodie local pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort in this well-equipped, warm, welcoming cottage. Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

The Barn - private 3 bed, garden, and firepit.
The Barn, is part of our grade II listed welsh farm house. Set in 8 acres of lush fields (the Barn has 1/2 an acre of private garden with beautiful views of the welsh mountains and the Skirrid). It has been beautifully restored with loads of original features, given a new lease of life and a sense of fun. We don’t mind noise, we want people to have fun, it’s perfect for families and night owls alike. And we are dog friendly and child friendly. Perfectly set up for both to have a great time!

Cute little Wye Valley cottage
Surrounded by woodland with hilltop views across the Wye Valley to Offa’s dyke, this eco friendly traditional Monmouthshire cottage is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature at its very best. Spend time in the garden listening to bird song and the gentle babbling of the stream or step out the gate to explore Cleddon Falls and beautiful view points along the Wye Valley walk. The medieval village of Trellech and Tintern Abbey are also within easy reach off or on road by foot, bike or car.

The Bothy Cottage @ Oak Farm
The Bothy, part of our 17th century Welsh farmhouse, offers a perfect base to explore Monmouthshire & the Brecon Beacons. Recently renovated, it has a spacious bedroom with a king size bed & bathroom with shower. Downstairs there’s a large living room w/sofabed and full kitchen. We provide freshly baked bread on arrival & home made marmalade & jam, butter, milk, tea & coffee. The Hall Inn iswithin easy walking distance and there's a log fire for nights in - ideal for a weekend in the country

Hidden away on the edge of the ancient Forest of Dean, in the beautiful Wye Valley, with a large secluded garden, accessed by a mile long, narrow, single track lane, hanging with ferns in summer. It's is a fabulous place for walkers and town escapees. Once a woodman’s cottage, with a cosy, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, log burner, very comfortable beds, all you need for a relaxing break. Not suitable for young children 1-12, the large garden has a pond and steep terracing.

Coach House Annex - Annedd Bach - Wye Valley
Finished to a high standard, Annedd Bach makes a comfortable base to explore the Wye Valley - walking, cycling or on the river. Set in 22 acres, the spacious accommodation benefits from underfloor heating, enjoys superb views over the Wye Valley and offers privacy with a secluded patio and garden - a true tranquil hideaway to escape the crowds. Located 4 miles from Monmouth the Cottage is approached through an historic arboretum with several giant redwoods amongst other specimen trees.

The Old Cider Mill
The Old Cider Mill is a beautifully converted old cider barn set in the wonderfully peaceful monmouthshire countryside. The cottage is a fabulous romantic and tranquil retreat set in one acre of meadow and adjoining spinney. Perfectly situated to explore all the wye valley, and nearby forest of dean, has to offer. This cosy cottage sleeps two guests and has an open plan living area with a woodburning stove. Outside is lovely gravelled courtyard with furniture and off road parking.

Isel Ysgubor (Low Barn) in beautiful countryside.
Isel Ysgubor (Low Barn in Welsh) is a one bedroom converted premises. It is located in an idyllic quiet part of Monmouthshire with many wonderful walks, cycle and running areas in the general locality. Monmouth town centre is approximately 10 minutes drive away, where there are a variety of restaurants, cafes, superstores, pubs and the sort of facilities that one would expect to find in an old Market Town. A place to be enjoyed through all of the seasons.

Hidden down a cobbled lane, this 18th century workers cottage has oodles of charm. An open fireplace, oak beams and traditional furniture allows you to step back in time and really relax. But there is still the benefit of modern life; wifi and a power shower! There are so many walks in the area: The Brecon canal, river Usk and Crickhowell are all close. Crickhowell has a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes. Walking guides and maps are provided.

Cosy Cottage | Dog Friendly | Wye Valley
Mill Cottage is a delightful stone cottage situated on a private lane in the heart of a pretty village located on the River Wye. The original cottage is over 150 years old and was the home of the sawmill manager, who ran the nearby sawmill, which has long since disappeared. It is now a lovely holiday cottage, that sleeps two couples and one well-behaved dog. It overlooks a pretty church and is very conveniently located for the village pub.
