This unique home was a labour of love built by your hosts. It has all the wonderful atmosphere that lime rendered straw bale creates - undulating walls and deep windows overlooking the bushland.

Lacabane Retreat - Tree Top Upstairs Apartment

Lacabane Retreat (Apartment) is close to the town and beaches. We are on 5 acres and very private. You’ll love Lacabane Retreat because it is very quiet and tranquil. You have access to a tennis court, cricket net or just read a book by the lake. There is also a library, dvd's and a table tennis table for you to use. Lacabane Retreat is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with young kids), and furry friends (pets).

The Cosy Corner

The little Studio ( Granny Flat ) is located at the back of our property right in town within walking distance to city center and to the Foreshore. The small Studio has a queen size bed, kitchenette for basic cooking and its own en suite. It has a separate entrance from main house, but shares the backyard. We are still in the construction phase of the shed / backyard veranda , so please excuse the little mess in the backyard atm.
