Villa holiday rentals in Mondello Beach

Stayed for a few days. Firstly confusing to locate the driveway, it comes up quickly from the highway. Giuseppe arranged to meet us and let us in. Place was spotless clean and bright. The minute you saw the balcony with the view it relaxed you. Located not far from Palermo on a main road. Restaurants are all along the road in either direction. Supermarket is a down the street also. Kitchen has all the needed appliances Balcony has Lounge chairs, seating area and a barbecue. Would book this again if ever in the area for an extended time, so you are able to enjoy all the amenities. AAA+

Rosellina’s property is truly magical! I cannot say enough positive things about it. Rosellina and her husband are absolutely wonderful and we were welcomed with a delicious lunch and thoughtful treats and touches. This is such a loved and authentic home in one of the most breathtaking locations. We spent a lot of time swimming and snorkelling. The neighbours are their relatives and very friendly and welcoming. It was delightful. It is true that pictures simply can’t do it justice. They have everything you will need and it is was very well-kept, clean, and organised. The mosquitos in Sicily are not to be underestimated! They supply everything you will need though which was very considerate. There are stairs down to the house which was not an issue for us at all and nice because you don’t get any road noise. Parking is off the main road so you’ll need to get comfortable with Sicilian driving! It is more than worth it. You will be lucky if you can be Rosellina’s guests!

Brilliant place to stay with fantastic, kind host. Lots of garden space and huge pool. Host was so helpful and relaxed helping us out all the time. Lyra the dog was so fun and friendly. Kids loved playing with her. Short drive from loads of beaches, restaurants etc. highly recommend!

We enjoyed a quiet few days at Marco’s place. The outdoor area is beautiful and there was no one around in any of the neighbouring villas so very private. There was a lot of space inside and out. The beach is rocky so water shoes are helpful, and it does get pretty deep quickly but we enjoyed swimming daily. The tunnel to get under the roadway and to the villa is tight, about 6ft wide as the listing mentions, we just managed to get our rental car through (Citron C3) buy pulling the mirrors in. But there is parking on the main road if you can’t get in. Marco was very quick to respond and provided a lot of local recommendations. It was under an hour to both Palermo and Cefalu; a great quiet spot if you want some peace and quiet.

Danilo is an absolutely amazing host, very responsive, hospitable and helpful. It felt like home, we got a personal greeting letter, which was a very nice gesture, some treats and some recommendations about restaurants., at the end of our stay there were even some little gifts for us. The house is very clean, spacious, modern, carefully designed to be practical, with a patio, terrace, swimming pool and sunbeds and also a little playground for children. There is space for everyone. It’s located a bit up, in a peaceful area, to get there you need a car but it guarantees a very nice view onto the sea. It was a great experience. The only regret is that we stayed only for one night. Danilo, thank you for your kindness and hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. It was spotlessly clean, with a generous provision of towels, a well-kept pool, and great amenities throughout. Jessica was incredibly helpful and always available if we needed anything. We celebrated two birthdays during our stay, and Jessica went above and beyond by surprising us with a dessert cake—it was such a thoughtful gesture that made our time there truly unforgettable. We’re so grateful for her kindness and hospitality. Highly recommend this villa for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Der Check In war super einfach und wir konnten sogar schon früher ins Apartment. Robertos Bruder hat uns in Empfang genommen und alles gezeigt. Roberto und auch sein Bruder antworten innerhalb weniger Minuten. Roberto fragt auch proaktiv nach, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Weiterhin hat er uns eine lange Liste mit Restaurant Tipps etc. gesendet. Die Unterkunft hat einen super schönen großen Garten zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Outdoor Küche. Es war alles sauber und auch alles da, was man braucht. Parken kann man problemlos um die Ecke. Zum Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Absolute Empfehlung :)

Excellent stay. This place was massive with everything you could want. It was hard to leave. Such a great host who was very kind and responsive. Steep drive-way is not an understatement but the host was happy to help us with our bags when we arrived and left. Beautiful location, felt like a vintage resort. Would stay here again!

Ornella and her daughter Beatrice were wonderful hosts. They responded to my questions in a timely manner.—- always pleasant and eager to help. The Villa and its surroundings and location were perfect for my group. The outdoor space was amazing! I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone wanting to be near Palermo and the beach!

It’s a wonderful Villa with a great pool, well located for the beaches of Terrasini. Sunset from the terrace is unforgettable. The host is fantastic - super friendly and responsive and very accommodating of our needs travelling with 3 children. A great place which I would recommend without hesitation. We will certainly be back ourselves!

Francesco was AMAZING! Honestly the best airbnb host I’ve had. If we had a question about anything he would respond immediately and would go out of his way to make us happy and comfortable. He gave us great recommendations for around Sicily. The property was beautiful and the breakfast service was great too. He made our weekend unforgettable! The house itself is stunning and had great amenities.

Der Aufenthalt war super und wir hatten eine tolle und erholsame Zeit in der Villa. Die Aussicht ist nicht zu topen und man kann sich nicht satt sehen! Wir wurden sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Aus diesen Gründen würden wir auf jeden Fall erneut einen Aufenthalt buchen.

L'appartamento è ampio e confortevole, ottimo per un gruppo come il nostro di 16 persone. Si sta tutti insieme ma ognuno ha la sua camera. Ci sono 5 bagni, essenziali quando si è in molti. La veranda chiusa a pannelli in vetro e circondata dal verde del giardino è un vero gioiello, fare colazione lì ti fa cominciare bene la giornata. Fornito di tutto persino di uno speaker Alexa. Luca ha pensato a tutto, persino a rifornirci di acqua,latte, caffè, biscotti e quant'altro per un ottima colazione per tutti. È stato gradevole e disponibile. Ottima anche la posizione a Mondello, a pochi minuti dal centro di Palermo e vicino ai locali del mare. Tutto perfetto, consigliato anche per soggiorni lunghi. Grazie Luca per l'ospitalità!

We spent 8 days in this villa in Partinico and it did not disappoint. From the get go, Vincenzo was very communicative and accommodating. He asked me how many rooms we would like set up and as soon as we landed, he gave me the exact co-ordinates to get to the villa which was only around 20 minutes away from the Palermo airport. He met us promptly at check-in then gave us a quick tour to allow us to enjoy the villa in peace. He gave us good recommendations on where to have lunch in the Balestrate area. Vincenzo then checked in with me now and again to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He came by to clean the pool but was in and out of the garden within a few minutes as to not disturb us. The villa itself was as described - so peaceful and tranquil. It was rural enough for calmness but also not far away from bigger towns and cities. If we are lucky enough to return to Sicily, we will book again with Vincenzo. Thank you for your hospitality - it was a pleasure!

Ein kleines Paradies auf Sizilien! Wir durften ein paar wundervolle Tage in dieser einzigartigen Unterkunft verbringen, die aus zwei charmanten Häusern besteht – eingebettet in ein riesiges, gepflegtes Gelände mit Oliven-, Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen, viel Natur und einem traumhaften Pool. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Details gelegt wird. Die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich herzlich und gastfreundlich – wir wurden vom ersten Moment an mit offenen Armen empfangen. Jeden Tag überraschten sie uns mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie frischem Gebäck oder anderen Leckereien. Man spürt, dass hier mit Liebe und Hingabe gearbeitet wird. Die Ruhe, das Grün, der Duft der Bäume und das angenehme Klima haben diese Reise für uns unvergesslich gemacht. Ein Ort zum Abschalten, Genießen und Wohlfühlen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Antonio and Laura's airbnb was absolutely superb. We were given instructions to first meet in Balestrate town and from there we were guided to Antonio's home which was a nice touch. We arrived and the photos do not do it justice. What a spectacular view and so peaceful despite being about 1km above the main town. The hot tub with that view was stunning. And the complimentary wine was such a lovely touch. We had everything we needed, fresh towels, cutlery, washing up utensils etc. Antonio was a wonderful host. He gave us some great recommendations for our travels. He recommended La Vucciria in Palermo, the Erice-Trapani cable car, San Vito Lo Capo beach which were all within 60/90 mins of the house. It was a perfect location. He also recommended Scala de Turchi (which was on our way to our next airbnb destination). All of these suggestions were incredible. Not only that Antonio gave us fresh lemons from his garden and some pastries. A real gentleman. Thank You.

Linda moradia cheia de personalidade com espaço interior e exterior incrível, até parece melhor na realidade do que nas fotos. Os arredores e as vistas são excelentes. A moradia também oferece privacidade. Divertimo-nos imenso e então com a piscina linda "infinita" com uma vista maravilhosa... O centro de Balestrate fica a cerca de 5 minutos de carro e há muitos restaurantes e bares, se quiser comer fora. O espaço exterior da moradia é definitivamente ótimo para ficar em casa. Adorámos tudo! Obrigado uma vez mais!!

I am happy for choosing Natalia's house not only of the wonderful view, the well-kept fruit garden, the constantly cleaned pool, the peace, the functional and comfortable spaces, but most of all because of the host Natalia and her family, who showed the most beautiful features of Sicilian people. From the beginning of communication, any question or problem I had was handled with great care and delicacy: be it "where to buy fish?" or "help with the car tire". Upon arrival, a fridge full of drinks, snacks, fruit, and wine was waiting for us. The smallest detail has been taken care of, so it is impossible not to fall in love with these hosts and with their home. Of course, there are a few things to consider: a car is essential, and sometimes the smell of sheep farms comes through. We travel by our own car, so the spacious parking space was a big plus. The huge fenced yard allowed our poodle to have fun. I will never forget the hospitality of Natalia and this family🙏🤗😍

We stayed a week in Terassini and it was like a private oasis. The home is a stone's throw to the beach and water boardwalk. The town piazza with many restaurants, stores, butcher, small grocery stores and pharmacy is also a very short walk. The pool area was a wonderful bonus even without swimming, the shade and breeze from the water was refreshing and calm. The home is immaculate and everything looks like brand new construction - extremely new, clean and also gated. Our hosts were exceptional - Clemente picked us up from the airport which is only a 15 minute drive. The most amazing part of our story is that our host is a first cousin to one of our travel party and we had no idea until we arrived and he told us he had family in Detroit (her husband!!!!). Clemente assisted us in renting a car for a day trip to Trapani and Erice (must, must see) which was extremely easy to do. Highly recommended!

We hebben al heel wat Airbnb-verblijven gehad, maar dit was met stip het allerbeste ooit. Als gezin voelden we ons hier meteen thuis — en dat is zeldzaam. Alles klopte: het huisje was tot in de puntjes verzorgd, volledig uitgerust en perfect afgestemd op wat wij nodig hadden. Van aankomst tot vertrek verliep alles moeiteloos, in volledige privacy en met precies de juiste balans tussen contact en ruimte. Het zwembad was heerlijk — een fantastische plek om te ontspannen en echt te genieten van het buitenleven. En de tuin… wat een werk moet dat zijn om te onderhouden, maar het resultaat is verbluffend. Zo verzorgd, zo mooi. Het draagt enorm bij aan de rust en sfeer van de plek. Martina heeft aan alles gedacht. De sfeer, de voorzieningen, de rust… Het voelde bijna te mooi om waar te zijn. We vonden het oprecht moeilijk om afscheid te nemen, en dat zegt veel. Een plek als deze is zeldzaam. We komen hier met alle liefde terug.

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

Abbiamo trascorso 5 piacevoli giorni presso la Villa di Fabrizio e Lavinia. Le comunicazioni sono state sempre precise e tempestive. La struttura ricorda una piccola villa hollywoodiana trapiantata in Sicilia. Progettata e arredata con gusto, la villa e soprattutto la sua piscina permettono di godersi un soggiorno di relax in riservatezza. I due padroni di casa vivono nel piano seminterrato e sono spesso assenti durante il giorno per lavoro. La villa convive fisiologicamente con la piccola fauna della campagna siciliana, ad esempio coi simpatici gechi che entrano la sera a curiosare. Consigliata a chi desidera rilassarsi in un ambiente ampio, pulito, tranquillo, immerso nella natura che sa essere persino sontuoso in alcuni suoi dettagli.

Patrizia's villa is beautifully located in Altavilla Milica. It is the perfect place for a family to spend a week in Sicily. As it says in the description, you need a car, but then you have places like Palermo, Cefalu, and Castellammare del Golfo within your reach. If you don't like to drive, you can hang out by the villa pool and just enjoy the surroundings. Patrizia was a very warm and friendly host who gave us great tips and information. I highly recommend staying at this place.
