Monthly Rentals in Mondego River

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

Very well-kept accommodation in a quiet and peaceful area. With our own vehicle, we were in a well-situated place to explore the nearest regions.

The accommodation was super equipped, there were even paddle surf boards to get closer to the river to bathe and play sports. A huge house, very spacious, the rooms were very large, everything was very new. All the amenities, there was room to park the car... Everything was great, a very pleasant experience and the host was attentive at all times to messages in case we needed anything.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Jean’s tiny house in the woods near the river Mondego. The location is simply magical—surrounded by nothing but nature, it offered us the calm and peaceful retreat we were looking for. The proximity to the river was a highlight, where we could swim and paddle at our leisure, fully immersed in the natural beauty of the place. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Jean himself. His genuine friendliness, good energy, and welcoming spirit created an atmosphere that felt more like visiting a friend than staying at a guesthouse. We especially cherished our conversations with Jean - heartfelt, relaxed, and full of good vibes. Thank you, Jean, for sharing your little sanctuary with us. We would very much love to return someday!
