“You will not be remiss to stay in the bunk house! The space is uber stylish and refreshing. We were welcomed to fresh-baked bread! Like seriously, you can't be the hospitality of baked goods and fresh eggs from the flock in the backyard! Located on "plantation row" you are just a few miles or a short drive from all of the C-town attractions, but in the peace and solitude of the low-country marsh/swamp/woods. Only 20 minutes from downtown and 6 miles from the gardens and architecture that makes the area so unique. Karyn has outdone herself with creating a homey, but also unique & stylish space that you won't want to leave! I know we certainly didn't....”
The house is beautifully decorated. It is located in a minority family type community, within walking distance of a park, community center, and a swimming pool. A house of worship is one block away. Also a family dollar store less than a quarter of a mile away. Located near the airport. This is a great community for adults and children. we welcome people from all backgrounds.l
“This place was a DREAM! I agree with the other reviewers that some people could find the area uncomfortable but it was not uncomfortable at all. The neighbors all spoke and I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable the whole time. The inside of the home is very up-to-date and comfy. The master bathroom is a little tight but I LOVED having a bathroom in the room. Everything was very clean, wifi was superb, beds were SUPER comfy, and my little boy loved the place as well. Last but not least, I saw some reviews about bugs. It was the middle of summer when I was there and I saw a few but nothing major. I have a severe bug phobia so I would have been traumatized had I seen anything drastic. I maybe saw a total of 2 small bugs that I had no problem disposing of. Thank you again for a nice place where I made beautiful memories. If you are looking for beach vacay feel like one would get with locations charging upwards of $150/night, this is not the place for you. They don't deserve the negative feedback for that. However, if you want a safe, modern, comfortable place, that is low key, close to the highway, and affordable, this is definitely your place!”
Lovely , private and quiet space above the detached garage. Perfect for overnights, long weekends or extended stays. Close to everything Historic Summerville has to offer. Easy 45 minute drive to downtown Charleston. You have your own private side entrance through the garage, private bed and bath in the loft. Great get-away!
“Deborah was an great host! She had everything we needed, including coffee for the morning. The place was a nice anniversary getaway in the midst of vacationing with family. It was bigger than we expected from the pictures, and the bed was super comfortable! We enjoyed nearby Charleston, the quaint town of Summerville - patio seating for restaurants and the parks!”
