Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mohican River

We enjoyed our time at Xiaomei’s. I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, but now our family is in several states. We booked the house so 6 of us could stay together and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal in a home setting. We ordered our meal; we did not cook at Xiaomei’s. We were very comfortable there! Some of my family walked through German Village and enjoyed a delicious meal at Schmidt’s. I recommend the area if you have a rental car as there is not much to do in walking distance. I did notice a bus stop pretty close to Xiaomei’s, so you may be able to take the city bus where you want to go. It would be worth checking.

This place is simply amazing, setting and location is ideal, very cozy, everything was just perfect, hope to stay here many more times in the future, the host were very friendly and accommodating, communication was extremely fast, you can not go wrong with this beautiful place

Kevin’s house was exactly what we were looking for a beautiful lake house that was somewhat secluded. Check in and check out were very easy.

Cottage is great! We loved the area - it's remote (by Ohio standards) but that's exactly what we were looking for. We loved the hiking trail and fitness stations on the property. Everything was fantastic, would stay again!

We found Judy's place to be very welcoming, clean, and supplied with everything you could possibly want. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The kitchen appliances were up to date the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The pots and pans and utensils, etc., were high quality. The gas grill was clean and in good working order. We made use of the extra refrigerator in the garage which was quite handy. The laundry room was top notch. Judy also supplied many unexpected extras and was very responsive during our stay.

We enjoyed the location and watching nature all around us in the mornings and evenings. It feels much more remote than it actually is - easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and retail.

We came down for a quick weekend getaway and the place was lovely! Quiet neighborhood, plenty of do, and a beautiful house. Definitely recommend

We needed a place to lay our heads for the night, this was that & so much more!

I stayed here for a local speaking event with one of my staff members, and we both felt very comfortable as the place is quite roomy. My bed was just right - I prefer a firmer mattress, so it seemed perfect for me. The linens were great quality and although others mentioned the sound at night on the Main Street, it was not an issue for us, whatsoever. Although we did not get time to visit local places, if I ever get to come back, I would certainly stay here again!

Beautiful downtown loft space. The owner was very easy to get in touch with. The space is HUGE. A great place to relax while also experiencing downtown. Will absolutely book again.

I had an unique situation where i had to extend the stay a few time. They worked with me so that i could keep the stay at the property and nit out myself in a bund by diubg so. I am very greeatful for the peoole at On Board Properties for their great assistance.

This charming little place is just as described. Quiet and peaceful, a great place to kick back and relax. Christine is a thoughtful host. She had the place warm and cozy up on arrival. From the toasty fireplace, to the loaf of homemade bread. We definitely recommend the stay.

Roger was great, BnB was great, all around nice place to stay! Quiet, Clean and private neigborhood, and we had no problems with road noise or neigbor noise. Every room was spotless and tidy, very much appreciated 👍 Would definitely stay here again. 10/10 Host

Very nice spot, especially if you’re visiting a Denison student. Walkable to everything on Broadway in Granville. The apartment is immaculate with a very comfy bed. Second bed available for any extras. The sofa area is relaxing and nice; little fireplace for ambiance and a nice table for eating or having snacks and drinks. I’d recommend Stacey’s place anytime and wish I’d only found it earlier. My daughter graduates in a few weeks!

Kelly’s apartment is gorgeous! The living room furniture and the beds were very comfortable and I highly recommend taking a bubble bath. It is also conveniently located. We would stay again.

Hillside Villa was an amazing stay! Was very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Berlin but also very quiet and peaceful. Was also very easy to find. We had the Hillside View Suite and it was an amazing view. Everything was very clean and above expectations. The owners are very responsive with communication. We will definitely be returning for future trips!

Hillside was a unique staying experience. It was very much a hostel style environment where there were a lot of shared common spaces and a good chance you will run into other guests. Which could make for a pretty unique experience if the other guests are sociable or friendly. It can also create an awkward experience if the others guests are loud or prefer privacy. The place was listed with washer dryer but we had to call to get access when the host said none was available upon arrival. The house is very large and up on a hill over looking the countryside. There was a faint musty smell in the home and some areas with water damage signs. The basement was a little worse with the smell. The pool table had seen better days and someone left it standing with a partially broken/unscrewed leg. We wanted to enjoy the downstairs tv area but the smell was a bit overwhelming. The place had a lot of potential. The room we stayed in itself was nice with it's own whirlpool tub. Kitchen access a plus!

Place was beautiful! Plenty of room for family and friends. Would love to go back during the summer to enjoy the pool.

Absolutely beautiful home. Perfectly located to explore Amish country. Beyond clean, super easy check in/out. Jeremy was so kind and communicative! We will certainly return!!

We had a lovely stay! The wrap around covered porch with views of the rolling Amish farmlands was gorgeous. The double access to the room made it easy to bring in our belongings from our car without tromping through the shared space. The bed was very comfortable. The bath was huge and the jet tub was a nice surprise. We built a fire in the outdoor firepit and four other guests joined in for conversation. We really enjoyed having our own rocking chairs just outside our door to drink our wine in the evening and coffee in the morning while taking in that beautiful view! Late at night we enjoyed a few rounds of pool in the lower Game Room. If you are bird watchers, I highly recommend a visit here. From the Mockingbird that sits on the fencepost just under our room, to the numerous songbirds darting about and the rare Kestrel hiding in the Walnut trees. My Merlin App was lighting up with more birds than we could imagine! I highly recommend this Airbnb that is just a minute from town.
