Villa holiday rentals in Mochlos

Very friendly host, we accidentally got their key with us and he agreed on us shipping it back. Moreover, we took on our way out a bag of groceries that we thought it was ours and he was extremely kind although it was our mistake. The place is super spacious and with great views, totally recommend it!

Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt, waren immer gut betreut und die Wohnung entsprachvoll unseren Erwartungen. Man muss wissen, dass in den Abendstunden auch das ein oder andere Flugzeug nach Heraklion fliegt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist direkt vor Ort und zu Fuß in 2Minuten erreichbar. Ansonsten ist ohne Mietwagen ein schnelles Einkaufen oder Essen gehen mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nicht so einfach. Mit Auto alles kein Problem in fünf Minuten in großer Auswahl. Die Aussicht und die Wohnung sind sehr gut. Schwimmen vor Ort zu Fuß in fünf Minuten sehr gut möglich unterhalb der Wohnung. Diese war viel großzügiger als erwartet. Insgesamt kommen wir gerne wieder.

Es war eine super Unterkunft, wir fühlten uns rund um wohl, super essen in der Taverne vor der Haustür Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderung und Relaxen Wir können uns bei den Gastgeber nur Bedanken für den angenehmen Aufenthalt

Die Begrüssung mit offenen Armen hat die Zeit etwas zurückgedreht: In die ursprüngliche airbnb-Zeit, die immer persönlich und oft herzlich war. Danke, dass wir das wieder einmal erleben durften! Das Haus ist äusserst geräumig und überrascht mit zwei Badezimmern mit zwei Duschen (+ je WC und immer genügend Warmwasser). Ein unglaubliches Auge fürs Detail macht das Wohnen in Giorgios Unterkunft immer wieder spannend :-) Richtig gute Matratzen sind mit dabei - erholsam! Der Aussenbereich ist unschlagbar: Man tritt in „in vier Phasen“ aus dem Haus… von innen zu halb-aussen zu aussen-halb-innen zu wirklich aussen :-D und überall kann man sich entspannen, je mach Lust und Laune. Die Zufahrt von Gra Lygia zum Haus erfordert etwas Vorsicht. Die Katzen sind superlieb, herzig und top erzogen/gepflegt sowie ernährt - wow! Danke Giorgios für die gemütlichen Austausche und frische Gurken-Überraschung, wenn du nicht gerade am Arbeiten warst. Danke seiner Frau für die gebackene Überraschung! Hingehen!

When you're looking for a quite place with privacy than this the place you are looking for. Surrounded by olive trees, close (but not too close) to the village and the sea side. A lovely villa with a nice (and very clean) pool that gives refreshment in the hot summer time. The villa is well equipped. Tips about the region come from Manos ... but we have to admit that we've had some lazy days in Zakros and did not visit all what Manos proposed :-). We've went to a few beaches but for us Kato Zakros (only 12 minutes drive -- lovely views by the way) was the ideal place. Not too busy and really nice restaurants on the beach. 100% chill.

Elis Superb Villa is a spacious and well equipped home in a peaceful location in the mountains overlooking the sea. The living room has windows on all sides meaning even when sitting indoors one can feast on the views. The furnishings in all rooms are comfortable and of high quality, where virtually all flat surfaces are covered in marble, giving one the feeling of living in a lavish home rather than a holiday let. The owner Apostolis was attentive making sure we had everything we needed. The recommendations he gave us for beaches and restaurants to visit were spot on. Both Apostolis and his lovely family who we met on one occasion, reminded us of why Crete is renowned for its generous hospitality or philoxenia. We were reluctant to leave and would happily go back again. Highly recommended!

Wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohl in der Villa von Konstantinos gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und auch sonst war alles tiptop, so dass wir Konstantinos nicht einmal kontaktieren mussten. Ankunft, Schlüsselübergabe etc. verlief vollkommen problemlos. Die Unterkunft liegt am Rande des kleinen Dorfes Anatoli, wo es sehr ruhig ist und man viel Privatsphäre hat. Es gibt es 2 kleine Tavernen im Dorf, die einen Besuch wert sind. Hier ist man noch abseits vom großen Tourismus. Wer hier herkommt sollte auf jeden Fall tierfreundlich sein. Um die Villa herum gibt es einige Straßenkatzen, die dankbar sind, wenn man sich ihrer annimmt. Jedoch muss man sich vorher gut überlegen, ob man die Katzen füttert. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen und können uns vorstellen wieder hier her zu kommen.

We stayed here for my bachelorette trip with a group of girls and had the most amazing time! The villa was even more beautiful in person – clean, spacious, and full of charm. The outdoor space was perfect for lounging by the pool- he even tried helping us heat the pool bc we got a chilly day so we still had a great time and soaking in the Greek view. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind, helping us with everything from local tips to arranging transportation and a private boat trip and massages . It truly felt like a dream getaway – peaceful, private, and full of good vibes LUXURIOUS- 5 STAR Highly recommend for anyone who wants a good trip all the way around- group trip, girls’ getaway, or any special occasion! Thank you for making our stay in Crete unforgettable!

We had the best time! Maria was so friendly and everything was perfect. We were even invited to eat dinner with them and had a blast. We were 14 people and we had plent of space for us all. It was clean and we even got new towels in the middle of the week which we did not expect. Would absolutely recommend staying there.

Me and my family had a great week at Villa Aires. The house is very special - set on a mountain side with incredible views up and down the valley. The sunsets each evening were perfectly framed by the landscape and some of the most beautiful we have seen. We hired a vehicle for the duration of the holiday and I would say this is essential for a holiday here - the price you pay for the stunning surroundings is that the house is quite remote, only the local village is walkable (charming but just a couple of restaurants and a small shop on offer). A car also gives you the opportunity to explore this area of Crete which has lots to offer with beaches, history, markets, harbours, beautiful towns. As long as you’re happy with the location, this villa is a no brainer. We would stay again without hesitation!

We have just had the most gorgeous family holiday at Villa Belle Helene . It is the perfect villa equipped to the highest standards both inside and out and exceeded all our expectations. Inside is spacious and all the rooms have excellent air conditioning which was very welcome in the heat. We spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor areas, especially the pool and jacuzzi which were perfect to cool down in the heat and to enjoy. The sheltered area outside the lounge is perfect for eating and BBQs and the raised outdoor seating area with TV provides the opportunity to unwind in an evening. It is 10 mins walk up to Old Hersonnissus which has a lovely square with Tavernas and bars. Hiring a car is worthwhile to explore the island further but not essential as its easy to book taxis. Eleni and her family are absolutely lovely, they could not be more helpful and made us so welcome. We would absolutely recommend this villa and would love to stay again if we go back to Crete.

We had a wonderful time. The villa felt private even though there are two other villas next door. My friends and I loved the pool and how spacious the whole place was. We had stunning views of the nearby sea and town. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The only negative was the water pressure in the upstairs showers. Nota was very accommodating. She offered to clean the apartment during our stay and helped us arrange our hire cars. (From my group's experience, a car is highly recommended as taxis and public transport weren't great). The village, beaches and restaurants in the area were also great. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

Amazing villa. Absolutely beautiful. Well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful bedding and towels. Toiletries. Welcome hamper. We will definitely return. 4 fantastic restaurants within 5min walk. Quiet. BBQ at villa to use. Lovely loungers. Manolis and his wife fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy to contact. We had a wonderful holiday. The villa is lovely and was perfect for a big family. Audrey is a great host who was so helpful throughout but especially with the challenges of the late arrival and checkout. Location is great and facilities were also great and exceeded expectations. A special mention for Wayne (the handyman), he took care of the garden, pool etc and is a bit of a legend👏. We would definitely look to book here again.

Met een groep van 9 vrienden een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Het huis was prachtig en de tuin met zwembad ook ook. Ook erg aardig dat we bij het uitchecken nog konden verblijven in een ander resort van manolis voordat we naar het vliegveld moesten. Dankjewel namens alle boys!

Communication with the host, Manolis, was great, very kind and friendly, cooperative, pro-active. The house was great to stay with our group of six, luxe interior, and very comfortable. The location was nearby the city centre. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Unsere Woche in der Unterkunft war einfach traumhaft. Die Unterkunft entspricht den Fotos in vollem Umfang. Die Ausstattung ist top und der Blick aus den oberen Schlafzimmern ist herrlich. Man kann auch über einen kleinen Pfad zur Bucht unten gelangen. Claudia war eine tolle Ansprechpartnerin, antwortet schnell und hat uns im ihren Tipps einen tollen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Sie hat auch Restaurants für uns reserviert. Die Unterkunft ist eine 10/10 und wir (7 Mädels) können sie voll weiterempfehlen.

We had a wonderful holiday at the beautiful Villa Cristina! The view is unforgettable, sunrise is especially magical! The Villa has a tranquil setting in the hillside but there is a lovely little seaside village nearby. Liza was very responsive to any requests and helpful with recommendations. We would highly recommend!

Wir hatten zu viert traumhafte 5 Wochen in Doras tollen Villa. Alles ist genauso wie in der Beschreibung und auf den Fotos. Und ein ganz großes Dankeschön geht an den Ansprechpartner vor Ort....Romeo. Er ist immer erreichbar, kümmert sich um alles und ist mega sympathisch. Wir werden ihn vermissen. Aber wir werden wiederkommen. 🤗

Wonderful modern place. Exteremely spacious and we loved relaxing by the pool and enjoying the views. Simos was excellent - super responsive and provided extra tips and recommendations such as restaurants and supermarkets. All our requests were met, with an infant cot and high chair provided for our baby and the washer and dryer were very handy!

We had a great stay! The location was perfect – very quiet, yet ideal for exploring the island. Everything was clean and exactly like in the photos. Communication was flawless, they responded immediately and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family!

Hospitality is considered one of the oldest cultural assets - particularly on Crete. Both, Giannis and Eleftheria, are hospitable people par excellence. We enjoyed our stay in the villa very much. Efcharistó!

Wir hatten einen extrem schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind einfach atemberaubend. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und es gibt viel Platz zum entspannen. Alles war sehr sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank für alles Stavros. Wir kommen wieder!

Place was great! View and pool were amazing features , the hosts waited for our arrival and checked in on us after the earthquake, accommodations were great! Enough space and a clean space. Would recommend having a car , a little car for walking but with the rental car it made it easy for us and everything is maybe 10 mins away, a lot of good towns to check out, one of our favourites was Agios
