Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mission Canyon

This 'Garden House' really is just that! The grounds are beautiful and the house is so welcoming. So many places to gather and/or lounge! The kitchen is large, well-equipped and was perfect for family meals. Beds are comfy and bathrooms clean and spacious. The outside entrance for the studio bedroom was different, and though we didn't use the kitchenette, I could see that it had everything needed to be a standalone unit. The casita is down a small hill, next to the fire pit. Although it doesn't have its own bath, it is a cozy and quiet bedroom, probably best for someone who doesn't need bathroom trips at night! We were a group of senior citizen siblings and loved the chance to walk the nearby nature preserve, though not everyone made it down the neighborhood's steps to the beach, lol. FYI, Google maps didn't quite take us far enough on the street - be sure to look for the house number.

We loved our short stay in Ojai, and we were so happy with the location, peacefulness, and amenities. It made our trip to be able to come back after the day and relax in quiet. Definitely would book again the next time we are in the area.

Had a really lovely stay at Kim’s place in Ojai. The surroundings were beautiful and private—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfortable, the hot tub was great, and there’s this unique rock feature built into the patio that made the space feel really special. Would definitely recommend.

Having three bedrooms and two bathrooms was an absolute blessing, even with just 3 people on the trip. Between driving in from AZ (day 2 of trip from NM!) and all kinds of crazy back and forth trips to LA for concerts, we definitely needed the various rooms to decompress and gets our showers done. Hot water lasted through 3 people, so good sized tank or one of those in-line heater things, not sure which. Space was clean and elegant. I truly wish we'd had time to use the hot tub or the book nook. As it turned out, we didn't, but both looked great. We prefer slightly softer beds (2 out of the 3 of us), but the third person was quite happy with the firmness thereof. Having washer and dryer on site was useful. Oven/Stove worked fine when we used it three times during stay. Fridge was big and clean. Overall happy with the stay and the amenities.

Super friendly cohabitation, fresh eggs were amazing… and very comfy bed. Was quite busy with clients and didn’t get to utilize the amenities as had hoped to, dry sauna was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if available. Best Regards CB and BJ

Corina‘s place was absolutely beautiful. First of all the view is unparalleled and the cabin is located in a very private and quiet spot which was perfect . Secondly we really enjoyed the layout. The cabin has a main floor with the bedroom loft with a bedroom and bathroom and a den with a bedroom and bathroom. This was very convenient since everyone had their own space and everyone had their own bathroom absolutely love this. Also having two decks to enjoy the view was great. The cabin itself is beautifully furnished and has a lot of nice amenities to keep you entertained like a piano and some board games and a television set in the den with a comfy seating set up. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back for another vacation stay. Thank you, Corina for everything.

Very accommodating - listed for three nights we asked for two nights and Robert and Arlina made it happen.

Peter was a very responsive and kind host. We brought a school club of ~30 to the place, and everything went smoothly. There was plenty of bed space, and someone of the couches pulled out into beds.

We loved this place for a girls weekend. Beds were comfy and lots of room to sit and visit.

Such a cozy little cottage get-away. It was a great home base for our adventures around Ventura, Santa Barbara, Solveng and Ojai. Took advantage of the little outdoor deck for some morning reading. The spring flowers in the garden were lovely and a morning visit from the pups was a joy. Our stay was great and we would gladly visit again.

We loved our stay. The casita is close to downtown Santa Ynez and surrounded by horses and cows! The property is private and very quiet and peaceful. We brought our dogs along and were able to walk them in a nearby neighborhood and take them on adventures with us. Jeanne’s place was clean, well appointed and she was very helpful and a clear communicator. One surprise was the tax that was due separate from the paid price to Airbnb. It is stated in the listing that tax was not included but I missed that it would be paid separately. So just note, but we really enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful visit! This was the perfect location for us to stay with our dog and explore the area. John and his family were so welcoming and helpful, and walking on the dog-friendly beach was the perfect way to start and end each day. We highly recommend this flat and plan to return!

We absolutely loved this stay. Such a beautiful escape in a serene environment. The sounds of the frogs at night and the gentle babbling brook made for some sweet sleep. My son (4) loved the goats and playing in the creek. We totally recommend this place.

Beautiful spot to relax and have a great weekend. A few restaurants and bars right off the harbor to enjoy and many activities around. Hospitality is 5 stars across the board! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Debra’s home was perfect! Private and extremely peaceful. The house is so cozy. We asked for an early check in and Debra was extremely flexible. She sent us messages that made us feel right at home. There’s a bunch of board games and great movie recommendations. The wood fire is also a perfect addition to the home. Whenever we come back to PMC we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Debra for a great getaway!

Absolutely magical stay! We had such a wonderful and relaxing time at Jolie’s cabin. The air was unbelievably fresh, the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed, and the surrounding hikes were stunning. The cabin itself is incredibly cozy — we instantly felt at home. It was the perfect mix of comfort and privacy. We can’t wait to come back!

Very pleased with our stay. Well-priced to comparisons. Augusto answered all questions and had great recommendations for meals, excursions, etc. PMCC was a great little find, and such a short drive from our home. This cabin was a perfect getaway place for my surprise anniversary trip. We can't wait to bring family back for a winter holiday trip in the future. Plenty of room for guests, enough space to gather and also spread out. The bathtub was a nice compromise for a spa. Beautiful views and local. I can understand why others loved and recommended this cabin. You will be so happy with your choice. Felt very safe in this neighborhood. We even found ourselves looking at real estate while we stayed. Enjoyed viewing beautiful wildlife; different from where we reside.

Jennifer & Robin's place was completely delightful. It was cozy and comfortable and absolutely perfect for a nature getaway. It feels very private, the view of the surrounding woods and mountains was gorgeous, it was so peacefully quiet and yet only a few minutes from the little community of shops & cafes. They provided everything that was expected but were also so generous and thoughtful in providing so many extras! The little things that make a visit easier and more special - different types of tea, lots of warm blankets, kitchen supplies, moisturizer - all small touches that make a big difference.

My partner and I absolutely loved this Airbnb. It looks exactly like the pictures and it’s such a gem to stay in. I do recommend you save the directions and her notes because 15 minutes or less before your arrival time you’ll lose connection, it’s a simple find as the route is pretty much just one road in and out at a certain point. The rooms are great and the beds are really comfy. The kitchen is pretty stocked with seasonings which is great! You do somewhat have slow wifi when it comes to the tv but good enough for your phone to work if you need to use it for simple things, but in the end the goal is to have a tech detox. It’s such a sweet place and I highly recommend staying here, we hope we’ll get the chance to again as well!

Toni’s cabin is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy PMC. Quiet location, great deck and right next to the snowflake trail. Toni has great information on all the hikes and places to see in the area and is easy to communicate with. Always our favorite place to stay.

This place is incredible. We had the most relaxing girls weekend away & loved Hilary’s gorgeous home. Surrounded by rolling hills & wildlife we had a fantastic experience. We look forward to returning and are marking this as a favorite stay. Highly recommend. Hilary is so warm & welcoming. The refrigerator was stocked with water & some beverages. She even left a sweet breakfast pastry from a local bakery that we all loved having with coffee in the morning. Best Airb&b experience ❤️ Thank you Hilary!

Jennifer was simply amazing! So responsive, communicative, understanding, kind, accommodating and genuine. Beautiful property which was so accurate to the photos, perfect location, easy instructions and loads of helpful information. The energy at fantastical cottage was so beautiful, it was the perfect getaway.
