Holiday rentals with a kayak in Mission Beach, San Diego

Beautiful private home with great amenities, would definitely stay here again during my next trip to San Diego! 10/10 experience

My family enjoyed our stay at Victoria’s. Some of my favorite features included: the rooftop deck, easy walk to the beach and eateries and coffee. The home was well equipped with beach essentials, bathroom toiletries, and basic kitchen items. The refrigerator had an ice maker and water dispenser, too. The two parking spots are tight but that is typical of any mission beach house. I would definitely rebook!

Max's place was truly gorgeous. The projector and backyard were stand out qualities for us, plus the close proximity of the water! The house itself was very spacious with a gorgeous backyard surrounded by plants and cute decorations. Additionally, my family and I loved the projector setup. Max was so responsive and was truly there for anything we might've needed. Would love to come back and stay here again in the future.

Cozy place well located with plenty to do within walking distance. Parking was tight but seems like all of the places in that location are — go for a smaller car/SUV. Diana was very responsive. In fact we were having trouble with the door code (user error not her fault) and she noticed a few failed attempts and called us before I even had a chance to text for help. Great experience with this host, I would highly recommend.

The Mermaid House was great. Perfect for what we were looking for. Easy to get to the beach and within walking distance to a market that has almost everything you need. William and his team were always responsive throughout our stay, the coffee maker went out and we had a new one the same day. No fault of theirs but happy they were responsive and proactive! Great place to stay!

Thank you Steve. Having our pets with us during a remodel of our apartment was important to us. The jacuzzi was an amazing amenity. Thank you so much for everything. We hope to come back soon for a stay-cation!

Great spot for a large family! Everyone had their own bathroom, and two rooms being upstairs meant the adults could hang out late while the kids slept! We rented a Suburban and were concerned about parking in the garage, but figured out the way to do it was to back in and take both parking spots!! We were pleasantly surprised yo find beach chairs, toys and a surplus of beach towels. The jacuzzi was clean and the rooftop was great for fireworks.

Hans has one of the best listings yet - exactly as described, plenty of room for everyone, and the bright open floor plan upstairs and the rooftop deck are fantastic!

A beautiful location. The landscaping was well designed and continued a large variety of plants and trees. That along with a couple of fountains really made the place relaxing. Very little noise and good privacy.

This is place was perfect for my stay in San Diego with my kids. The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to the bay, the ocean and Belmont park. The place was very clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you need if you don't want to eat out every meal. Very cool/ comfortable and peaceful patio area with a grill. Karin was very responsive and helped us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a great location. And very lovely cottage. Perfect for two adults, two kids and our dog. Cheryl was responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage as a young family - great location, cute home that feels like grandma’s house in a very endearing way, and is filled with family-friendly toys, beach accessories, movies, etc. J-me was so responsive and welcoming.

We had an incredible stay at Dawn's home in Mission Beach. She was extremely responsive before and during our stay when we had a question or needed help. The location of her home was perfectly situated for our family- closer to the bay side but only a block or so away from the ocean side. The included toys, games, and books were amazing for our seven year old. We all enjoyed a great bike ride around the bay, too! The kitchen had lots of extra small appliances and amenities that made it easy to cook many meals during our stay. The outdoor firepit and patio made for relaxing evenings with a view of the Sea World fireworks. In the listing, Dawn mentions that the garage is a tight fit for larger vehicles. Parking our minivan was very tight so we appreciated Dawn's heads up that we could keep the garage door open so that we didn't need to use street parking.
