Beach house holiday rentals in Mission Beach, San Diego

This beach house was wonderful. It was very accessible to all areas- food, bars, entertainment. You can walk to Belmont in 7 min or go to the R in PB with a 6 minute Uber ride. The house has all great amenities. They had bikes and water equipment to use. There are 2 parking garages so it helps with big groups. Along with that, the beds are comfortable and clean! I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing!! The best views, the best walking, and the spaces in the house are perfect for a group. We made dinner in and watched the sunset every night. We also brought our 6 month old son and it was a great location to be “nap trapped.”

Michael was a great host. I really appreciated the opportunity to check in early even though it didn’t work out. I also appreciated the fast and efficient communication. The house was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Great location close to bay and easy drive to beach. Home was cute, clean and perfect for our family of 4. The kids especially enjoyed the backyard swing and I appreciated the little extras in the kitchen. Thank you! Will return for our next trip to Point Loma!

My family and I had an absolutely perfect stay at Lori’s place! It had everything we needed and we felt right at home! Having the garage parking was a big plus for us, no need to deal with street parking. Everything like restaurants and coffee is within walking distance from the home, Rosemarie’s was our favorite! Our 2 boys (age 2 & 4) loved being so close to the water! The bay is steps away and Mission beach is right across Mission blvd. The icing on the cake for us was the sauna! My wife and I got to relax in there after some long beach days. If you’re considering Lori’s place, book it now! You’ll be glad you did!

Tina’s place was lovely and perfect for a family reunion. There were 10 of us (and a dog!) gathering together and the house was a perfect amount of space for all of us! The rooms were great and met everyone’s needs, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more to make meals at home, and the location was amazing to go on walks, dog beach, and target runs. The backyard was great for hanging out and there were plenty of extras to have a fun beach day. Tina was responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! If you’re looking for a place to gather people and make fun memories, this is your spot! Thank you so much Tina for a great stay! :)

Perfect place for a couple! Hot Tub is a bonus we used it every night while watching our show on the outside TV. Just a few minutes from the beach which was perfect! Was able to fit a 4 door Tacoma in the parking spot which helped out a lot

highly recommended, we only had detail with the refrigerator that did not happen to the elderly and tried to resolve as soon as possible, they were always on the lookout for it, which allowed us to have the best thank you

Outdid the pictures. What a brilliant house and beautiful location. Beach and pool right on your doorstep and so many wonderful places to visit. House was very clean in a safe neighbourhood.

This is one of our favorite townhouse among all the Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! 1. It’s very quiet and located in a gated community, which feels safe. 2. It’s close to the ocean. You can’t see the sea directly, but it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. 3. The house is super comfortable and beautiful! The host provided almost everything we needed, which made our stay very convenient—we really appreciated that. 4. The community is lovely, with swimming pools and a large ocean-facing lounge. 5. The location is convenient. Although it’s in North San Diego, it’s only 6 minutes to Del Mar beach park and 30 minutes to the south. The only inconvenience: the host requires guests to wash all towels or pay a $100 fine. This meant we had to start doing laundry the day before check-out. Since check-out is at 10 AM and we also needed to clean the kitchen, we were rushing to wash and dry towels in the morning. This was not convenient. Everything else is very good!

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

This was our second time staying at this home in San Antonio Del Mar w/our pup. Private safe gated community w/beach access. Only 10min drive to downtown Rosarito. Very spacious with an ocean view & jacuzzi. Joel is an excellent host! Definitely recommend & look forward to staying again!

This place was better than we were expecting. Perfect spot over the beach. Watching sunsets, sealions, dolphins and birds right from the patio. The patios are fairly private concidering your beside each other. This unit is nice because you can see all the way up the beach. We usually stay away from condos due to noise from other people but this condo was quiet, even though we had people above and beside we barely heard anyone due to the concrete floors. Nice pool, and hot tub. We didn't really use the tennis or basketball courts. Everything inside and outside was clean and well kept. Best thing was the view, 2nd best thing was this unit is actually a well stocked air bnb. There was plenty of dishes, kitchen ware, uten toiletries, soap etc Easy 4min walk to beach and 6min walk to restaurants, coffee shops etc. And the beach and neighborhood seem fairly classy and family friendly. Wyatt was very fast to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay again

Beautiful home in a nice, gated community. The accommodations for my baby were a huge plus and made our stay even more comfortable. Would definitely book again!

This home in La Jolla is an absolute gem!! On a quiet suburban street, with a park, beach parking, and beautiful La Jolla Shores beach all within easy walkable distance (less than a block away). The house is immaculately clean, stylish, and comfortable, light and bright. We loved the private yard, patio areas and the sun deck! The fixtures, finishes, and appliances selected in this newly remodeled home are top notch! We loved the 3 bedrooms in the main house, and the bonus casita with full bath, washer/dryer, and kitchenette was such a bonus! We were provided everything we needed for our stay, and appreciated all the amenities. The linens were fresh and clean, and the beds were really comfy! Natalie was a great host, and is very helpful and responsive if you have any questions. Highly recommend!!! We look forward to visiting again!

Bluewater house was amazing! We used it as a stage house for our wedding. The bride (my wife now) took her getting ready photos there and it came out perfect! The house has a lot of natural lighting.

Brant was an excellent host and gave us great local restaurant recommendations. The house was as expected and the location cannot be beat.

Heather's Airbnb was fantastic! She was very responsive & was clear with instructions. The house had everything we need and it was clean & comfortable as well as quiet and private with its own driveway. Our highlight of the Airbnb was their Beach Cruiser bikes. We had a nice bike ride down Mission Beach. We had a blast & definitely when back in SD we will surely book her place again. Thank you Heather for being such an awesome host ! 🧡

The best Airbnb experience I have ever had! Steve was proactive with communication and recommendations, and a truly generous host. The home felt luxurious with amenities and all the comforts of home. Anything you could possible need, they had. We will absolutely be back!

Beautiful room, easy to get into, gorgeous view. Valery even let us check in early which was great and loved sleeping to the sound of the ocean

We had a great stay at Talley’s place. We loved staying in Mission Beach, and the house was perfectly located between the ocean beach and the bay beach. We have two small children, and we appreciated the two twin beds (one is a trundle, which was perfect for a 2 year old who hasn’t graduated to a big kid bed yet), and the access to a washer and dryer. The place was well-equipped with fans, lots of towels, and even some beach chairs and toys. This home is managed by three generations of women, and all three were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating to make sure we were comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this home to others.
