Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Missaukee County

From the start, host was amazing. The property had a very relaxed feel to it. The added game room was spectacular. Everything was exceptional! Will definitely stay again. A very highly recommended stay.

The cottage was so cute and looked just like the pictures. We felt right at home. The front porch was our favorite part. We were able to sit and read while looking at the lake. We will stay here again.

Extremely unique layout and design of house. The house easily accommodated our whole party and the deck, hot tub, River, and kitchens were wonderful. The house is fully stocked with all amenities that other AirBnBs often lack like towels, toiletries, kitchen appliances/basic spice/condiments. The property is densely forested and feels very secluded. Great stay.

FANTASTIC FIND!! Such a perfect place for a large group. Hosts have a done a great job of making a previous commercial property feel like a home. Truly an awesome find! The pool is an amazing amenity - remarkably huge, wonderfully heated and so much fun! Hours and hours of fun. Truly unique. So many in house activities available - pool table, b-ball toss, putting game, shuffleboard and tons of games. Was perfect for our group of teens. Six shower rooms with sinks/toilets and two more bathrooms made it easy to get the crew out quickly. :) The lockers were wonderful to keep necessities near the shower rooms - surprisingly helpful. Seemingly endless towels were greatly appreciated. Easy to Cadillac / Lake City restaurants and shopping. Convenient to day trip to slopes and summer fun, too. Compact kitchen had everything we needed and two other full size fridges allowed for more than enough space for our big group. Totally worth it; the hosts have made a great place!!

We stayed here for a business trip, there was a ton of space for us all and very peaceful! The house was very clean and nice! The yard is peaceful and private and very quiet!

Family enjoyed our stay here. The place had everything needed, and perfect location for us. Nice size yard for the dog. Boat launch just down the street. Short drive to town. Dollar General just down the road, if you needed anything. I always hunt down the independent coffee shop and Shoreline Cafe in LC did not disappoint. Will come back to stay here again.

We all had a wonderful stay, wish we had more time there. We didn't even get to use the fire pit or the lake with our visit. We clean and peaceful and served its purpose. Planning a return trip To enjoy the home and it true tranquility it offers

The location, the ambience of the place, the courtyard, the plethora of towels, the cleanliness, the easy parking - what a great place to stay, and how easy the process was. We’d highly recommend this.

The place was very clean, which is always my #1 priority. It was tastefully decorated. There was a musty smell, I’m sure caused by the concrete. We left the windows open and febreezed often and that seemed to help. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the bed. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. I would stay here again, if there was a different mattress and pillows. The location was great for us! The traffic noise wasn’t a problem for us. We really enjoyed the short walk to the water! Very nice.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I enjoyed this visit as much as the first. Extremely friendly hosts, beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful. Exactly what I was looking for. I will stay again for sure.

We had a lovely stay at Jennifer's place. The private entrance in the back of the house was very peaceful and the yard gorgeous. The apartment was clean and felt cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was a very quiet neighborhood. Definitely recommend the space!

We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our time at the Turtle Pond cabin! 😍 It was clean, cozy, and roomy. Everything was thoughtfully prepared - from comfy beds and ice in the freezer to fishing supplies and firewood ready to go. The kids were obsessed with the adorable lofts, the WiFi was fast and reliable, and the HVAC worked like a dream. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to relax, and the porch quickly became our favorite spot for coffee. You can hear the turtles and frogs, and lots of mourning doves! One of the highlights of our stay? Watching a turtle lay eggs right by the front steps! Best of all, the hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, even when we were lost in the middle of the night on a twisty backroad. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-equipped getaway with a touch of wilderness magic, this is the place!

the petersons cabin is a great place! the cabin is rustic but very well put together, reminded me of going to deer camp when i was a boy. the cabin has basically everything you need for your stay. very quiet place to relax around the fire and is close to Houghton lake for some day activities. we will gladly return next year!

This place was amazing! We had a wonderful stay here and were able to jump in kayaks from the site and float down the river. Owner was very helpful and friendly before we even got to the house, he was very accommodating. The house is wonderful and has everything you could need, plus lots of space. The river is so nice and sandy, perfect to swim in or float around. I will say the cell service is almost non-existent, which wasn't a big deal at all for us. Actually pretty nice to step away from it all for a few days. Definitely want to go back here again, we had such an amazing, relaxing time.

Kim’s secluded cabin was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! It was a great place to get outside and away from everything! We took our dog with us and it was perfect for him too! Lots of space to walk and explore with no one else around! The cabin had everything we needed! You can tell this place has lots of family history! We will be back!

I loved my stay a Deb's Grandma's cabin! The cabin was lovely decorated to the smallest details. Just lovely! The bed was comfortable and I slept well. There is a small kitchenette in the camper next to the cabin with a little fridge, a coffeemaker, cups and a cute little wooden table. Deb is a delightful and very kind host. She is a sweetheart which will make your stay just wonderful. She prepared a little firepit fire at my arrival and joined me for some for a nice conversation. The cabin is located in a very quiet spot for those who just want to relax and unwind in the countryside.

This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I was hesitant given the reputation. Christina's cabin was beyond 5 stars. Quiet, remote, peaceful, and beautiful. There were instructions for any questions you could think of. Christina has thought of everything. Even if something was forgotten, Christina had extra. I will be back for another fall vacation at this cabin in the future.
