I had a great stay at Pauline's and would happily stay there again. Her communication was excellent and the property was exactly as described. I was charmed by the decor and use of space, it felt roomier than I'd expected. Comfortable, well-appointed. Thanks for the hospitality!

Holistic Haven An Organic Luxury & Spa Experience

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
absolutely amazing place to stay. I have so much to say. the decor is cozy and welcoming. they put so much thought into all the details. the whole place smelled and felt like a spa while I was there! Laura is just one of those people that is meant to host. she is so friendly, so responsive and her food is good too! the whole place is beautiful inside and out. I had a great trip and would love to come back in the future. I have already shared the place to a few of my friends and clients and they look forward to booking.

The Lost Coast Tower, Petrolia

WayneRating, 5 stars7 months ago
For anyone looking for a truly beautiful, unique environment away from the maddening crowd this place is a must. There are no words - the craftsmanship, the views - it is absolutely one of a kind. We found it so relaxing we stayed an extra night. The drive to the Lost Coast and Petrolia is stunning and best of all Daisy just might be the perfect host. It's a steep climb to the top of the ridge where the "tower" is located but it's well worth the hike. We intend to make this a yearly pilgrimage. It's by far the nicest place we have ever stayed.

King Bed | Hot Tub | Mountains | Starry Nights!

ChristanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Brittany’s cabin was absolutely magical. The peaceful mountain views, the cozy interior, and the remote location made it the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. The directions provided were clear, and the communication with Brittany and Bob was prompt and friendly — they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck or watching the sun set behind the hills, this is the kind of place that brings instant peace. I’d definitely come back!

My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays out of town and we loved staying at the place we rented out for a week. It was quiet, comfortable, and had all the things we needed to clean, cook, etc. Also, having the beach right across from us was such a nice plus! I got to take my little fur baby out for a walk with my friends and we both enjoyed the nature and scenery.

Parkway Grove Family Friendly Lux Cabin

PatriciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay. It’s directly on the Avenue of the Giants and it’s close to everything to do around Humboldt. The house was very peaceful and beautifully decorated. It had everything needed for cooking. The place really is beautiful with redwoods right there to admire and all. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Humboldt… which we hope we do because it’s beautiful.

"Riverstone" Cabin |River Access| In Redwoods WiFi

HemantRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Stayed at a cabin for the long weekend around Valentine's day. Wonderful property and location, right on the river. Charles is a wonderful host and helped out with local recommendations. Great place for a weekend getaway, pretty close to Richardson's Grove State Park, Humboldt as well. Avenue of the Giants is like a 20 minute drive away and it is right on the US 101.

"Twin Trees" Cabin |River Access| In Redwoods WiFi

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I think our host was actually a black cat. The very friendly and affectionate cat greeted us on arrival (Charles had sent excellent instructions and was flexible on when we arrived). The cat and my daughter immediately bonded thanks to much petting. The cat showed us to our cabin (which was better than the pictures with two redwood trees growing through the porch and more redwood trees as part of the view down to the Eel River). I spent many hours hanging out on that porch reading and working (thank you very fast Starlink) and petting the cat. She was very well trained not to enter the cabin, which was comfortable and had plenty of space. We also enjoyed being able to use the lodge kitchen and games and bigger tables and porches. We spent a week immersed in the redwoods and this cabin was the perfect place to stay. We did meet Charles, who told us the cat is named Beyoncé.

Little piece of paradise in the Redwoods Miranda

RachelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place is remote, clean and quiet. It’s down a windy road, instructions to get there and in were clear and easy. 10ish minute drive to Avenue of the Giants and market, coffee, restaurants. There were brochures left out for things to do and places to eat. Place was spotless except for some cobwebs in the corners and behind the door- but it’s a cabin, so no marks down. Brian set the instructions ahead of time like to remove shoes before entering, a policy I like to practice in every house, so I appreciate it. Decor is eclectic. Cabin was sufficient for two for a lovely weekend exploring the nature around.
