Takasegawa Shichijo Kyoto Machiya is a residence with 115-year-old Kyoto machiya as a full novation. The Kyoto machiya, which shapes the beautiful scenery of Kyoto, has been restructured into a highly airtight and insulated building so that you can spend comfortably in the steamy summer and cold winter that is unique to Kyoto, leaving the structure of the time. From the Japanese-style room on the first floor, you can see the tsubo garden with the imagery of the "open space" (* garden leading to the tea room). In addition, we have prepared a sofa so that you can look at the tsubo garden while relaxing relaxing in the hallway. At night, you can spend healing time while looking at the lit-up tsubo garden. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, with two single beds and one double bed. The guest house located at an elevation of about 2500ft in Rokko area of Seto Inland Sea National Park. Unfortunately, there is no veiw from the guest house, but you can enjoy the private space as it is reserved for one building. Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo

Traditional Japanese House 74㎡ Osaka Namba KIX

This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. It is easy to reach Namba, Umeda by subway, KIX and Koyasan by Nankai Railway. The 7-11 convenience store is one minute away. The Sento public bath is also very close to my house.

"Kyoto no Oyado Souju" is a private townhouse 5 minutes on foot from Keihan Shimizu Gojo Station.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs.
