Newly remodeled with a separate entrance to first level of a raised ranch home. Private bathroom, queen sized bed and sitting area. There are down pillows and comforter on the bed. Eating area with table and chairs, microwave and fridge. Heated by a gas stove. We are a 10 minute drive to Burlington and a 10 minute walk to Bayside Beach and Park with lighted tennis courts and beach. There is a grocery/liquor store a 5 minute walk away. No pets allowed due to severe allergies in family member.

Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

The Barnbrook House was like something from a fairytale. It was more spacious than we thought looking at the photos. I loved my stay here, Dana was very communicative and timely. The fireplace was a great feature of the accommodation which we made good use of. I liked how there was an off grid vibe without actually being too far away from modern conveniences like Wifi, TV, AC. I would stay here again.

Beams in the house look original, hand cut with axe marks on them which was very interesting to see. Kitchen is large and modern, though we didn't use it. In short, it's a very beautiful and comfortable house.

This place is wonderful- I highly recommend it! We had a bigger group so we booked the upstairs and downstairs and it worked great for us. Abbott was very good, responsive and helpful whenever we reached out. The room s were spotless, very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The lighting is great- lots of dimmers so you can't adjust the light to your liking. they had a lot of snacks there for us and waters in the fridge. And the off street parking is a plus. It's an easy quick walk down to Church Street or the lake. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Pete and Amanda’s. The house was as pictured/ described, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed- plus a great collection of CD’s. Driving directions are clear and Pete was very accommodating with our late check-in. The house is peaceful and tucked away, and we received great recommendations from our hosts on things to do.
