There is something so unbelievably special about this place. I found it so peaceful yet so exciting, seriously good for the soul. If you are in need of a calm staycation, search no further. Very good energy surrounding/inside this place and you can feel it from the owners too! P.S. as someone who did a bit of cooking while here, I really appreciated how many appliances they had. The griddle came in handy for a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view.

Would definitely come again. My boyfriend and I stayed with our two dogs and we all had a great time. Our dogs loved the location so much they were getting us up early every morning to go outside to play. Location was perfect for some Philly and NJ attractions.

My 12 year old son and I stayed here for 2 nights. It is exactly as advertised. My son enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the picturesque lake. The surroundings are scenic and tranquil. I enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunrises over the lake while drinking my espresso. We enjoyed the fire pit as the sun set and the stars came out. If you like nature and quiet as well as a clean house this place is ideal. I would come back here anytime.

We were looking for a place to spend Christmas with our older daughter who has a tiny studio in the Bronx. The carriage house was in a fantastic location, convenient to the GW Bridge and our daughter’s apartment. The private parking was wonderful and the property was right next to some woods which were perfect for our dog. The apartment was spacious enough for our Christmas together and very well appointed including spices in the kitchen. Our bed was very comfortable and the apartment was very clean. Joe and Victoria were very gracious, helpful hosts who were very responsive communicators and provided a lot of good local info. I would highly recommend the Carriage house; I know we’ll be back!

Michael was very hospitable, he made me and my dog feel right at home. He was super kind to my dog, and let her run around his backyard. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There were also miles of trails not even a block from his home.

It you're looking for a bougie home, this is not it, but if you're looking for a secluded and peaceful environment where you can unplug, this is it.

Apache-Dog Friendly Fenced Yard

Great spot for a small family. The fenced in yard was key with 2 dogs. It definitely has a rental vibe but we were very comfortable. The furniture was dog friendly with covers which was fantastic with a lab. After a long day of snow tubing the fire place was an added bonus. We cooked one dinner and the kitchen pots and pans were just enough. If you’re planning on cooking a lot definitely remember spices and if you need any kitchen gadgets that’s not basic. We very much enjoyed our stay!
