Located just blocks from restaurants, shops, and theaters in Overton Square, the zoo, and Overton Park. Brand new mattress April of 2024!!! LOCALS-This is NOT a space for parties. There is only parking for 2 cars. Guest MUST be listed. Any other cars will be seen by neighbors and our exterior cameras and parties will be shut down immediately

The Lions Den

Newly constructed apartment just completed October 2018. Located in the lower level of our 100 year old historic home. The Lions Den is a cozy hideaway for travelers to call home. Guests enter the apartment through a lovely garden with fountain. There is private entrance and porch to enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail. We provide beverages and pumpkin bread and other conveniences. If you are traveling with more than 2 you may also book Lions Rest next door. We also include home tour.

Big River Bungalow is in the newly revitalized Crosstown Neighborhood. The perfect place to enjoy all Memphis has to offer. Walking distance to Crosstown Concourse which offers a variety of restaurants, shops, live music, a craft brewery, and many other activities. The house is a 5-10 minute Uber ride to Beale Street, FedEx Forum, Overton Square, Cooper Young, the Memphis Zoo, Stax Museum, Liberty Bowl, Civil Rights Museum, Sun Records and Graceland. Higbee House, home away from home and then some.

Our large, meticulously renovated private home is art filled and furnished with our eclectic style. There are two bedrooms down with their own bathrooms. Two bedrooms upstairs share a bath. An additional flex space with daybed is upstairs as well. The beautiful gourmet kitchen is open to the living and dining areas. Although the house is not ADA compliant it does have wheelchair access on the ground floor. Our home is in the authentic Memphis. As we say, "Midtown is Memphis".
