The guesthouse sits on the sheltered and private side of the main residence and one acre site, overlooking large trees and gardens. There is a public nature track which leads to a lakeside beach and private jetty.

Sunsets365 Luxury Boutique Accommodation Metung

Sunsets365 is a luxury modern, self-contained accommodation for couples overlooking Lake King at Metung. Enjoying a spectacular sunset each night, that's Sunsets365. Just a short walk to the Metung Country Club and Hot Springs with public golf course. Access is via a spiral staircase to your private balcony which has an uninterrupted magnificent view of Lake King and the mountains beyond. Dolphin Cove, just to your right attracts several species of Victorian raptors and other native animals.

The Kottage features vaulted timber lined ceilings with sky light. Surrounded by a natural habitat of gum trees, koalas, kangaroos and colourful native birds.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The three bedroom apartment is on the top floor of a two level property. It has street-level access requiring no stairs. From the moment the birds wake you, through to the gorgeous sunsets you will be mesmerised by the view of Lake King. Metung offers a variety of activities such as boating, fishing, sailing, walking and cycling. The State Forests and beaches are a short drive away. Metung village is a 1.5km walk or drive away.

Quiet self-contained unit with abundant bird life

Our peaceful property is a quaint self contained unit which is separate from the main house and has bush views. Please note that we have recently changed our house rules and for safety and suitability reasons we no longer accept bookings with children. We also cannot accommodate pets. Please note that WiFi connection is poor inside the unit but ok on covered deck. No charging of EV permitted but there are two stations in town that we can ferry you too if we are available.

Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage

Pet friendly cosy and warm rustic cottage on the water at Eagle Point. Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage is on Lake King of Gippsland Lakes. Cycling, fishing, walking, swimming and boating are popular here. Next door is the fauna reserve and great bird watching. It has a lake frontage and a shallow water jetty. On windy days watch kite surfers out the front. The ambience and serenity are wonderful. Electric vehicle? We are happy to have it plugged in while you are here

After your day’s adventures light the chimanea and enjoy a quiet beverage in the courtyard or cosy up to the electric fire in the lounge. Most of all relax in the beautiful village of Metung.

Kings View, Kings Cove, Metung

As evidenced by the feature photo, the house offers sweeping views of Lake King and the Boole Poole Peninsula. This panoramic view now includes the Metung Hot Springs resort, our new neighbours, positioned some 20 metres from our water view deck. Construction of Stage 1, a glamping and hot pools offer, is now open. Book on the MHS website to secure your relaxing hot pools experience.

The White House- Loft

Looking for a relaxing escape in Metung, self-contained loft house is the perfect spot to unwind. We’re just a short walk from Bancroft Bay! Simply head out the driveway, turn left, pass one house, and take the bush track or stairs down to the boardwalk. From there, it’s a pleasant 1km stroll to the heart of Metung. Need more space ?
