Villa holiday rentals in Metropolitan city of Catania

Silvia was an excellent host, always responsive and very helpful. We were able to find the villa with her instructions and she was there to greet us and say goodbye when we left. The villa was spotless and we loved the outdoor space with all its different seating areas and bbq. The house was well equipped with thoughtful touches. There were lots of little extras for our stay including clean towels, jams, treats and Prosecco. A great base for exploring Sicily’s south east. Highly recommend this stay.

It was a great place, surrounded by nature, quiet, the home had everything and you could sit on the beautiful terrace and rest your gaze in the green nature, listening to the birds singing. In the garden there are 3 beautiful, very friendly cats that kept us company. Antonino was a great host,everything we needed was provided instantly, and additionally, because our departure flight was in the afternoon, he kindly allowed us to stay in the space as long as we wanted. Thank you so much, Antonino! Arrivederci!

Beautiful stay in Aci Catena. The space comfortably accommodated all four of us and the beds were one of the most comfortable of our whole trip. The outdoor area was amazing with the pool surrounded by many olive, lemon and peach trees. Daria was very willing to help with every question we had and made many recommendations throughout our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quaint stay, yet so close to everything.

Beautiful villa, spacious outdoor area, saltwater pool was fantastic. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Very clean and well presented throughout. Communication with host was faultless, all questions and calls were answered promptly. Villa was very private, we hired a car but Uber was very reliable and good value. Local restaurant Blue Ice was very good. Highlight was visiting nearby Taormina both on an evening and during the day. I would most certainly recommend Villa Flara and the beautiful island of Sicily. 🍋💕

We feel very lucky to have stayed here - your garden is beautiful - the children loved picking oranges and lemons and making delicious juice. We enjoyed evenings on the terrance and taking in the spectacular view - we even saw etna erupting which was very special. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wow what an incredible villa! The photos don’t do villa Stefania justice. The house is beautiful with stunning views over the sea and Etna on one side, and a beautifully kept garden and amazing pool on the other. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a very good size and the open plan kitchen, dining and living room are beautifully decorated. We hadn’t planned to spend much time just at the villa, but ended up spending three days out of our 10 day stay just enjoying the pool and tranquil surroundings. The villa is ideally located for sightseeing with Siracusa, Noto, Taormina and Catania within easy reach. But the villa itself is off the beaten track and therefore doesn’t feel touristy or crowded at all. Indeed, most of the local restaurants and bakeries are mainly frequented by locals. Giuseppe is a wonderful host, always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The villa was perfect for a stay with small children and alongside some toys and kid’s furniture, there is a playground!

Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mara's house. There was plenty of room for all of us and the outdoor spaces were truly amazing. The kitchen is on the small side but we had no problems cooking meals for eight. We took the short drive into Santa Venerina for groceries and a couple of meals. The streets were not as narrow as some Italian villages. The best part of the stay was Mara herself! She is so helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this villa in Sicily was nothing short of exceptional. With 14 of us, we were at full capacity, yet the space never felt cramped. There were 2 to each bedroom where we could retreat to, and the communal areas—especially the indoor dining area and expansive outdoor space—were ideal for relaxing and gathering as a group. The villa offered the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. It felt like an authentic Sicilian experience, without sacrificing any of the amenities we needed. The views were breath-taking, the facilities top-notch, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered. What truly elevated our stay, though, were the hosts, Alessandra and Toni. I usually prefer a more hands-off approach, but they struck the perfect balance—always available, attentive, and incredibly supportive, without ever being intrusive. Their warmth and care added a personal touch that made all the difference. We truly struck gold with this villa & it’s amazing hosts.

This was our first visit to Sicily. We were a group of 8 with 3 families. We had plenty of space & privacy. The home is truly as beautiful as the photos & is like a step back in time. Maria is an amazing artist who added her special touches all over the home This was Francesco’s grandfathers home built in the late 1800’s. The backyard overlooks the town below & the ocean w Mt Etna on the other side. Magnificent! The added bonus of Rosaria’s services made us feel incredibly pampered. Her services are an additional fee but are very well worth it. She cooked 2 amazing meals for us (her chicken cacciatore is the absolute best!). She also helped secure a restaurant reservation & transportation. Note that a driver or rental car is a must. Unless you are fluent in Italian you will need translation apps. Truly a lifesaver as Sicilians often do not speak English. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to visit the beautiful island of Sicily.

We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

Amazing villa that matched perfectly the expected when we booked. Excellent service from Danilo & his wife from check in to check out, very helpful and always available. They’ve met all our requirements, that as we were travelling with kids were very important for us. Definitely an unbelievable stay in a stunning premises and beautiful place. Highly recommended and we are very much looking forward to come back. We enjoyed every moment of our trip. Thank you very much for that!

I stayed at Sandra’s home with two of my close friends for 5 days and we just loved our time there. Sandra helped us book a private chef and we dined outdoors overlooking a breathtaking view of the countryside and sea. The home is situated perfectly to explore (with a rental car) Taormina, Siracusa/Ortigia, Mt. Etna, wineries, and other lovely towns. The pool and gardens were unreal — especially because the whole region is peaceful, birds chirping and a quiet breeze. I would be so lucky to stay in Sandra’s home again!

A beautiful villa with gorgeous private gardens and pool. You have a fabulous view of Mount Etna and another stunning view of the sea. This is a very peaceful place to stay with plenty of different areas to relax in the shade or sun. The outdoor dinning area is beautiful and allows you to eat outside even if it is raining. The villa itself is really spacious and great for two families or groups of friends. It is in a rural location, so a car is definitely needed. But it is lovely to have such a peaceful place to return to. Maria was a lovely host and her communication was amazing.

Sonia was a great host who recommended so many brilliant activities for us and the house was just like the pictures! It was massive and great for a group of 11 to feel very comfortable. We got taxis to Riposto and Taormina.

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

The house was very nice and is very suitable for big families. We felt very welcomed by Isabella and her husband. They made us feel at home and gave us a lot of tips for activities.

We had a nice stay, Guiseppe was very nice & gave good recommendations. The mother, who lives on the property, was also very nice & showed us the turtles and offered us fresh eggs from her chickens (which you can hardly hear). You can relax by the pool or explore the surroundings with the rental car. We highly recommend Syracuse, Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Catania, Castelmola and Taormina. There are also beautiful beaches in the area. Air conditioning and WiFi work and the rental car is always in the shade. Great value for money!

Alessandra’s property just north of Viagrande was an excellent location for us to explore Mt Etna and surrounding towns. Alessandra was a great communicator and accommodated our late check in after an evening flight into Catania. Our children enjoyed exploring the grounds of the property but the guest house itself is quite rustic (which was fine for us).

The villa was above and beyond what we imagined! The pictures do not do it justice! The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us into their own, helping us with every need and question. The included breakfasts were fantastic and we had the villa owner cook for us one night served by the pool and it was by far one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. The pool was such a special treat each evening after our day visiting Mt Etna (super close to access) or around town. We would highly recommend this place as it’s spacious (we had 8 and there was extra room) and the hosts really went above and beyond to help us with every need! The only downside we had was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will return to Sicily just to stay at this villa again! Va bene! Grazie mille!

We spent five days in the apartment and it was amazing. The communication before arrival was fast and clear. The apartment is in a house with beatiful garden. The parking place is inside the area. The welcome of Antonia was warm and we immediately felt like we were there several times. The apartment is spacious, with two balconies and nice views, to the pool and the sea. Its super clean, the apartment, the garden as well as the pool. In the kitchen, you find everything you need. Some water and the bottel of wine was prepared for us, very kind. Antonia was always there to help but she was very discreet. The house is in a calm residential area. There are not so many places to see and the restaurants in walking distance, the car is a need. We enjoyed our holidays and hope one day we come back.

We spent a 10 day vacation here as a group of friends. Already upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the beauty of property and surroundings: located in the beautiful lemon grove overlooking the slopes of Mount Etna and the sea. It couldn't get any better! Boredom never arose, the area offers a lot! However, a car is important. There was also always something to do on the property: beautiful pool, ping pong table, foosball, football or cooking in the great kitchen... and always fresh lemons. Maria Gulia and Angelo are super friendly and often helped us with tips and quick answers. The villa is an absolute recommendation!!
