Beachfront holiday rental in Metropolitan city of Catania

We enjoyed our stay in Pozzillo very much. The location is great and the house very large - bigger than on the pictures. Andrea is great host - he showed us around when we arrived and we got fresh fruits and wine - very tasty. The kitchen is quite old but has everything essential. Watching the fishermen every day and waking up with a great sunrise view on one side and Etna on the other side is just great!

My wife, 13 year old daughter and I stayed at this house for 10 days in April 2025. The house was very clean and it was appreciated that there are amenities such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, water, etc. in the house on our arrival. The beds are noted as two singles and two doubles but we felt that the bed sizes were larger. The third floor appears to have a king bed and the 2nd floor has a queen bed. Also, it is clear that the owner spent money on nice mattresses as the beds were very comfortable and hotel quality. We were very pleased with the hot water in the house. We never ran out of hot water in the shower and the water was very hot. Also, we used the washing machine and this worked well for us. The instructions and information provided by the owner were detailed and thorough. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations. We did not use the air conditioner or the heater but there are five in the house. The house was clean and we would stay here again. Thank you!

Large 2 bedroom apartment very clean and very well equipped. Parking at the foot of the building and pleasant residential area. In the morning and evening you can hear a little the neighbors who live in the apartments around but we slept very well because far from the road and very good bedding

The house was incredibly clean and the host was very responsive. Dario was helpful at every stage and was an incredible host. The place was in the perfect location by the water with many great restaurants right outside. Would highly recommend!!

Diego was the best host ever! He welcomed us personally and gave us all the instructions we needed to enjoy our stay. He’s also an experienced tour operator and gave us fantastic tips on what to do, where to eat, and more. He even helped us organize an unforgettable excursion to Mount Etna. The house is clean, comfortable, and in a great location—just steps away from the sea. We use Airbnb regularly, and Diego is definitely the best hosts we’ve had!

The environment is perfect for visiting eastern Sicily, the accommodation was perfectly clean, and gianpierro and Vanessa always attentive. I recommend. We very much enjoyed the breakfast and chips as soon as we arrived. Sicilians are very welcoming, always ready to help us and very kind. Thank you ☺️

Beautiful and exotic location, the views from the balcony are extraordinary. For the most acrobats, access to water is possible directly from the terrace of the accommodation. Small typical and friendly village far away from mass tourism.

We loved this apartment. It was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there. The location is also perfect for arrival by plane in Catania, touring Mt Etna and visiting Taormina. The local area the apartment is in is also beautiful and there is a beautiful view of the ocean from it. Superb!

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

The highlight of our trip was the incredible five-course Sicilian dinner Carlo organized for us, showcasing the region's delicious cuisine. Each dish was a delight! The location itself is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and rich culture all around. We felt immersed in the beauty and warmth of Sicily. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking to experience the best of the island!

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Highly recommend!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

A great house in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. In terms of layout, design, usability and location, it does not get much better for this price. It is in the centre of a charming small city with everything you need close by, without feeling very touristy. It was great to stay here with a small child, but keep in mind that the entrance has a narrow staircase that is not super easy to navigate with a stroller.

The listing was located in a quaint village that included great restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We took advantage of the seaside for our walks. Very good location. Less than two hours from the accommodation we could visit the places (Siracus, Ortigia, Catania, Agrigento, Mount Etna CE) recommended to visit Sicily. Thank you Antonietta for hosting us!

It was another wonderful holiday in a beautiful place, right on the beach and a lovely restaurant nearby . It is very worth going here and definitely if you like the beach.

Staying at Maria’s place in Sicily was truly unforgettable. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had the most breathtaking view—facing both the sea and majestic Mount Etna. One night, we were lucky enough to witness Etna erupting from the balcony. It felt like something out of a movie—absolutely magical and awe-inspiring. The restaurant in walking distance opens at 19:00 every day and serves amazing sea food and pizza at a good price. Maria was a warm and attentive host, always available for anything we needed, and she gave us great local tips that made our stay even more special. The location was perfect for exploring the area, yet peaceful enough to just relax and soak in the beauty. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Sicily!

It was very nice and easy to communicate with Sabrina. The apartment is well equipped - even with some food for the start. The best is of course the fantastic view to the Etna. One night we could even see the glowing lava.
