Holiday rentals with breakfast in Messina

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

We had a great stay in Tina’s place. Tina was always very helpful and very quick to respond to requests. The place is really peaceful and beautiful. To sit outside and listen to nightingales singing, scops owls calling at night and many more birds was fantastic. The only other noise was the bells on the cows as they came past the house to go for a drink. The flowers along the tracks are gorgeous. The place has a fantastic ambience. A wonderful relaxing retreat. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

we had a great time in a beautiful village close to etna. the property is beautiful, and we felt very welcomed by the owner, his cute dog and even 2 horses.

I liked everything, the hosts are very responsive , everything is within walking distance of the embankment market, shops, port, cafes, restaurants. we will gladly come back again)

Lovely modern apartment that is up on the hill. Well equipped. A lot of noise from the traffic outside - on a junction.

We had a perfect stay! The accommodation was exactly as described: clean, cozy and well located. The real added value was Stefano: an exceptional host, always available, very kind and better than a tour guide! He gave us valuable advice on what to see, where to eat and how to get around, making us feel at home from the first moment. An experience we recommend without hesitation, we would gladly return!

The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for visiting Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this in no way affects the positive assessment of the apartment and the host, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

Elisa’s home was absolutely stunning! The views were incredible, and Elisa was so helpful and kind! We were a few hours late due to a cancelled train, and Elisa not only stayed up late to still welcome us, but arranged for a taxi to come get us. She was so kind, thoughtful, and helpful! I cannot recommend this place enough! A perfect stay!

Very good place, apart from what Taormina is, the place is close to everything and the host is very attentive In addition, the apartment was very well equipped and the bathrooms were new

Absolutely loved staying with Paola & Marcello - so much we actually booked a second time in the same trip to Sicily! The views from the property are stunning - you’re steps away from their garden, the stars at night are perfection, and you’ll have some of the best sunsets on the island. Breakfast here is the most peaceful way to start the day. They serve an incredible homemade meal with fresh local foods. You will feel like you’re dining with family. Marcello kindly transported us to and from the ferry because the property is at the top of a hill (near the observatory). This isn’t just a place to stay it’s truly an authentic Liparian experience. Beautiful experience, impeccable in everything. The B&B is located in a strategic area, a few minutes from the centre. The room is functional, very clean and immersed in a quiet environment, with an unbeatable quality/price ratio. I also loved the breakfast and what can I say about the owners? Lovely! First and foremost Diego was an amazing host, helping me with my bags up and down the stairs and cooking the most amazing breakfast each day. The room is exactly as pictured, so cute and with an amazing view of the ocean.

And ideal little room 5 minutes away from everything. It ain't the Ritz, but it is cheap, welcoming and well-kept. Overall a a good rest spot for travellers. I would recommend.

We loved staying at this Airbnb. Stunning balcony with views over the coastline. It was a very quick walk to the centre and 2 minutes walk from the supermarket. Giuseppe recommended places to see while we were here and helped us with transport option when getting to the Airbnb and for our stay. He was very attentive and a brilliant host. Can’t recommend enough!

Ludovica's B&B is certainly the place to stay if journeying to Giardini-Naxos. Ludovica was a wonderful host and greeted us on our arrival with some excellent tips for navigating the local area. She was incredibly helpful to us throughout our stay. The villa apartment was clean and homely. Ludovica and her colleagues provided a lovely continental breakfast every morning with an array of savoury and sweet items that would cater to anyone's taste. The B&B can also be commended for its prioritisation of the environment in using energy, water, and waste-reduction strategies. We loved our stay and it made our time in Sicily all the more special. We are very grateful to Ludovica for her time!

We had a fantastic time staying at Fabio’s home in Taormina. The location is perfect for walking straight into town and only a 5 minute walking to the gondola, which takes you to the beach, or the steps that you can walk down instead. When reaching Fabio’s home he was kindly waiting outside to greet us and help with our luggage. Although there is no permanent parking outside his home there is a regular free bus that runs to and from Lumbi Parking and a bus stop 5 minutes from his home. Thank you so much, for having us and we will be sure to stay at yours again if we do visit in the future!
