Beachfront holiday rental in Messina

Great terraces with view of the sea. Not a lot of restaurants to walk to. Place was very clean and furnished well. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make several dinners there with no problem. We went during shoulder season so the area was very quiet. I’m sure it’s busier during the summer.

Beautiful to sleep with the sounds of the sea. Everything you need. Carlo was friendly and responsive. Nothing more to say :)

The access to the accommodation was a bit surprising at the end of May as you have to drive through a small stream to get to the end of the road. The entrance to the free underground car park is also a bit bumpy and it is recommended to unload the car upstairs at the apartment beforehand if it does not have high tyres. But once you arrive, the accommodation is really impeccable with a beautiful view of the sea. You can hear the sea rustling at night and can sleep with the windows open without hesitation. You can also get from the apartment directly to the beach via a small staircase. The accommodation was one of the cleanest I have experienced so far. The mocha pot for making coffee, which is unfortunately often neglected, was also really clean. All public transport as well as small bakeries and shops are within walking distance. Since you can use a free parking space, excursions by car are always easy. The place is really highly recommended.

Concetta was very engaged since we made the reservation. she helped us plan our visit to Naxos and Taormino. She was very accommodating with our travel timing. Her recommendations for boat rental, local travel, restaurants,... were all spot on we enjoyed all of them. She even stopped by to touch base, help us with our stay, and the travels. Her place is very conveniently located to all the activities,stores and public transport.

A simple but beautiful villa with plenty of space, several terraces and a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea. From there you can explore the area on foot or by car and you can discover something new every day. Be it the Castello, the Capo Milazzo or the old and new center of the city. The house is simply furnished, not up to date, but this also has its charm. Yes, there are no real showers or air conditioning, but this has been made up for by the view, the spacious garden and much more. I would like to highlight Alessandra and her family. Super friendly, helpful and respond very nicely and promptly to inquiries. Thank you for 2 great weeks in Sicily.

Bartolo was excellent - very responsive, kind, and even came to meet us at the port to bring us to the accommodation! He gave us recommendations around town and was super thoughtful and kind. Would recommend staying here if you’re in Lipari!

Alessandro's place was everything we expected and more, right on the seafront, with loads of fantastic restaurants, grocery store and few shops all on the doorstep. The Apartment, was peaceful, and had everything you need for a great holiday, home from home. Alessandro was great at recommendations, but as he said you can't go wrong with any of the restaurants and cafe's Giardini Naxos, is a really lovely place to stay, always felt safe walking around night or day, Taxi to Taormina costs 25 euro to beach 30 euro to the town, during the day but at night is around 40Euro So much to see and do on the island, which is absolutely stunning We used Sayonara Beach, Geovanni and staff were great too, great advice and not a rip off, they have a cafe and restaurant, with all the facilities needed for the day, and is only a five minute walk. Will definitely stay at Alessandro's place again and highly recommend.

A clean apartment with all the amenities. Sabina is very friendly and helpful, she always wrote back to the question. Santa Teresa di Riva is a quiet town with a beautiful beach, restaurants, great communication whether by train or bus. I recommend it, I'll be back.

We had everything we needed for our stay at Giovanni's place, fully equipped kitchen, clean and big apartment. The place is ideal if you want to escape the crowds. And Giovanni is a welcoming host.

We had a nice time at Melina's place as a group of friends, of 3 people. We were able to reach the address easily by rental car. Without a car and in hot temperatures, the steep ascent/descent is certainly a bit challenging. We had a very early flight and were even able to get into the apartment much earlier thanks to Melina's flexibility. It would be important to mention that Melina really only speaks Italian and the check-in was a bit quick, but we understood basic information thanks to English notes. The apartment is a little out of the ordinary but fine and we got along well. Melina was always quickly available for questions and sent us a few addresses for restaurants and excursion destinations at the beginning. When checking out independently, it should be noted that the entrance gate has to be opened with the key beforehand, we had locked ourselves in the yard in the early morning hours.

Daniela's place was perfect for us! Carmelo welcomed us and showed us around the beautiful grounds and the sea access, which was our favorite part of the stay! You see all these boats (some big and fancy) pulling up to the area for snorkeling...and we had free access to it every single day of our stay - it was such a plus for us! The water is gorgeous! Daniela and Carmelo were great hosts - communication before, during, and after our stay was the best.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Gianni and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. The apartment is wonderfully and authentically furnished. The kitchen offers everything you need. The bathroom was clean and the bed in the bedroom very comfortable. The place and the street were wonderfully quiet at the end of September and you could relax very well. All in all, a perfect starting point to discover the east coast of Sicily. Highly recommend!

Our family (2 adults/2 children) enjoyed a wonderful stay here in April. It is a well-equipped and good sized property with everything we needed. It is well located on the coastal road: a few minutes drive (or 20 minutes steep walk) to Taormina and also from the beaches/Isola Bella. Communication with the host was good and the building manager was very helpful with our arrival.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

We had a great week. The property is a perfect base for excursions to Mount Etna or the Alcantara gorge. The house is beautiful and super well equipped, really everything you need is present. The pool is perfect despite you need a swim cap. The town itself is not special. It's like taking a time trip 70 years back in time. There is a lot of empty and closed. We only went here to the Pizzaria (Orso), which has great pizza's. Fortunately, there is plenty to do in Taormina, so it is not a loss.

Our stay was amazing. the apartment was beautifully decorated, you could really tell they put a lot of work into it. very luxurious but still gave a very cozy and comfortable vibe. the hot tub was really the cherry on the cake. The location is perfect for people who are looking for a place where to relax but also have a bit of night life. lots of shops, bakery's and restaurants around where you can try all the typical sicilian food. The rocky beach is barely even a 10 minute walk and it's just simply stunning, you can smell the ocean breeze even from the apartment. We had a wonderful stay. Daniele greeted us very nicely and advised us with recommendations and tips for the area. The apartment was very nice, clean and well equipped. The terrace and direct access to the sea are the highlights of the apartment. The apartment is quietly located and a 5-minute walk over the rocks takes you to a small quiet beach. Highly recommended!

In an extremely clean, structured apartment with beautiful views of the small harbour and the sea, we felt very comfortable. From the clothes peg to a complete kitchen equipment to umbrellas, everything was really thought of. I liked the clear lines in the apartment design. And of course, the small garage is a treasure with the scarce parking space offer!

Need a car to stay here, easy to miss the entry road, but once you’ve got it it was all good, the apartment was very clean well stocked with facilities, no wifi, aldo left me some nice gifts for arrival coffee, water, wine !!!! Thank goodness, if you arrive on Sunday afternoon, pick up your food on route the shops locally are closed when you are tired and hungry aldo sent me details of shops that was great. He’s an excellent host and communicator, the views !! Oh my lord, they are truly magnificent! I want to live there! The sofa beds take some adjusting to, but ok, quiet area and neighbours perfect tranquil place, shops short drive away, and you are central Sicily to explore days out. Fresh Italian coffee on the balcony in morning Lovely just lovely. Good hot water/ shower washing machine, lots of cooking /serving utensils and crockery, cleaning equipment. Aldo was always helpful and kind which I appreciated as a lone female traveller, nothing is too much trouble. Loved it ! 🥰

I stayed at the apartment for quite some time (~a month) and can confirm it is a lovely space to stay in! True to the listing - you have (almost) everything you need, and the hosts live right downstairs if you do end up needing anything. The view from both balconies is beautiful, with areas with both shade and sun and plenty of seating. The immediate surroundings are fairly quiet, although I admit I stayed there before the high season. There's a limited amount of shops/restaurants in quick walking distance - there is much more on offer in the city. Anything in the center of Giarre/Riposto is at least a 25/30 min walk away, but most of that is along the lovely seaside! I don't drive myself, but it seems it is a much easier way to get around both the town/the island. The train station is pretty well connected though - about 20 minutes to either Catania or Taormina. All in all, I am happy to have been hosted by Orazio & Giusy - very kind and helpful hosts to go with a very nice apartment

A dream AirBnB! We loved everything about our stay at Maria’s place and just wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was beautiful, from the gorgeous interiors, the garden and the incredible sea view, all even better than the photos! Very comfortable bed and pillows too. San Giorgio was quite sleepy in May but we enjoyed its friendly charm. Bar Buttò became a favourite local spot for an early morning coffee or an evening aperitif! I hope we’ll come back again.

Amazing modern apartment with a private beach! Very light and well-equipped. The highlight for me was the huge terrace, where I spent most of my time relaxing. The apartment is well located, with easy access to major tourist spots like Etna, Taormina, and Siracusa. There are plenty of cafes and bars nearby, and the best pastry shop in Catania is just a 10-minute walk away. Giuseppe and Valerio were incredibly responsive and friendly hosts.
