Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Old low-ceilinged house, typical of the Limousin farmhouse. Comfortably restored, it has a bedroom with a double bed (+ a mattress on the floor on request), a living room (convertible sofa) with kitchenette and wood stove, separate toilet, bathroom with enameled bathtub and is extended by a veranda. The house is located in a small quiet village, surrounded by animals (horses, donkeys) 4 km from the A23 Bordeaux-Lyon exit and 65 km from the Mont Dore ski slopes.

With a surface area of 120 m2, the cottage is located in the heart of Auvergne in the Sancy massif, near the Parc des Volcans d 'Auvergne recently classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will find all the amenities in our village of Tauves (bakeries, butcher, SPAR ...) Small atypical, unique and charming cottage perched just above the city center of Mont Dore, accessible by an uphill path of about 80 m. Feeling of being immersed in nature, with a beautiful view of the Capucin Mountain… while being less than a 5-min walk to the city center, thermal baths, terraces, shops… It has an equipped kitchen open to a living area with sofa bed, a bathroom and a bedroom. Cleaning, linens and towels included.

We welcome you to our guest room located on the ground floor of our house . The price includes the night and breakfasts made up of organic or local products. Linens and towels are provided , cleaning is provided by us at the end of the stay. From September to June we offer a meal basket for 2 people at €33 (homemade soup, Auvergne terrine, St Nectaire farmer, homemade bread, cheese glass with fruit)+ €6 with a Btl de Chateaugay.
