Ruwertal Vacation Home

Soak in the peace and idyll of the Ruwer Valley. The garden has access to the river, the house is sheltered by an old oak tree. In the house, the flair of the 60s, wooden floorboards, high ceilings, vintage furnishings, cozy house designed with much love. Have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the Ruwer. Try Riesling at the nearby winery, eat pizza at Gut Sommerau overlooking the castle ruins. 2 dream loops pass the house and the river invites young and old to splash around!

The apartment is located on the ground floor in a former private mansion, quiet, garden side. We offer a bedroom + private bathroom + living room (large TV Netflix) with direct access to the garden. Our family lives just above. You can have breakfast with homemade jams on the terrace or in the living room adjoining the bedroom. We are close to the faculty, the lake, the Opera, the pedestrian center and the cathedral. Many shops, restaurants 2 steps away.

Over 60 km of cycling and hiking trails invite you to discover them. A small brewery on the property invites you to tarte flambée and five of its own beers.

The modern apartment (62 sqm) is a quiet location. In the bedroom you will find a double bed and a spacious closet. In the living room there is a sofa bed, massage chair, smart TV, Netflix, Amazon prime, cable connection, DVD player and stereo system available. Kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, multifunction baking stove, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, egg cooker, kettle, hand blender, toaster and scale.
